GRAMBLING — Grambling State University’s women reached the 100-point mark in a convincing Southwestern Athletic Conference victory over the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff here Saturday.
Grambling women notch 102 points

The Lady Tigers (9-10, 5-3) took a 102-70 win that featured a 50.8 field goal percentage and huge 63-30 advantage in rebounding.

Four players scored in double figures for GSU, as guard Kristen Harper led the way with 18 points and ending with 15 each were forward Secrett Anderson and guard Brittney Allen.

Lady Panthers up 44-30 with 11 minutes to play in thegame, they are on a 21-4 run.....

Coach Wilson has them going strong and this is after we lost our Big 3 from last year (Candice Thomas, Gatti Werema and Latara Darrett). This years team has Dominique Smith a the leader followed by Robin Jones and the freshman Sierra Soliz. Next year she has some more bigs coming in to step in and keep it running along with Soliz and Latia Williams and some other on the bench right now.

They have shut AAMU down inthe 2nd half, now leading 61-37 with 3 minutes left. AAMU has only scored 12 points this half.

You have to give them props. Even with the lost of 3 starters, they are still number 3. I think they will move to number 2 with the win today. I wouldn't say fear but they are my sleeper team. SU girls will finish 1st without a doubt.

Fear is a strong word. I didnt ever not give them credit. Valley and PV concern me, but fear hell naw. Add Gram to that also. Jags dont fear nada.
