Yard Time 2012


How did your yard turn out for the summer. Mines ended up doing great when we started to get some rain.

Now with the fall here, are you getting it ready for next year?
 
It went pretty good. The summer started dry, but the hurricane brought a lot of rain which brought things back to life. It continued to rain after that and, right now, my yard is lush and green. The brown spots have recovered and the grass looks good.

A few of the shrubs I planted are looking scraggly, but I'll replace those in the spring.

I'm thinking about building a deck with a pergola out back to create an outdoor living area.
