What Happened To Sandra Bland?

Social media allows for people to say stupid shit and have their stupid shit supported.

Dry pussy ass idiot.

Then she uses this to promote her book, dawg!

So to promote her book she posts that and then insults black folks since that's the main set of folks who are taking her to task on that post.

Could see that one coming 10 miles away. I'm sure the good folk from Chi think texas is still a backwards racist state, at it is for the most part lol, so they have to exact damage control and continue to bring media exposure on a senseless act that occurred to their loved one.

So, where is the tropper today? Still on administrative leave? I'm slightly hesitant to go cycling through walker county w/ that rogue and his rogue buddies patrolling.

Gathered inside a downtown Tulsa law office on Tuesday, attorneys Benjamin Crump and Damario Solomon-Simmons, cited a toxicology report that indicated Ricky Stone had 6.8 nanograms of marijuana in his system when he shot Bird on Feb. 4 during an encounter at Deerfield Estates Apartments, 8812 S. Delaware Place, after Bird allegedly attempted to back a car into him.

"We have a hard time understanding why the (Tulsa County) District Attorney's Office is not looking at this information like we are," Solomon-Simmons said. "We know Ricky Stone was intoxicated the night he unjustly shot Monroe Bird."

Stone, 57, was charged May 29 in Tulsa County District Court with a single count of drug possession after a police report showed he admitted to having a small amount of marijuana in a backpack in his vehicle on the night of the shooting.

He was issued a summons on the drug complaint on May 28 in McLean, Texas, and has yet to be arrested on a $250 warrant, Tulsa County District Court records show.

The toxicology report, provided by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, also revealed Stone had prescription drugs in his system that attorneys claim could have impacted his behavior.

Solomon-Simmons cited two states — Washington and Colorado, both of which allow the sale of legalized marijuana — that have a legal threshold of 5.0 nanograms for someone be considered impaired.

District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler told the Tulsa World last month that there was no indication from Tulsa police officers or medical personnel at the scene that Stone was under the influence of drugs or alcohol that night.

I am sorry if I am repeating anything that has been said, but some things need to be cleared up on social media.

Some have talked about her not getting the $500 for bond. Arrangements were made to get her out of jail to my understanding.

Do not believe everything that a Waller County official says. I have a feeling that some of them will not look too good when this is finished.

Few Lawyers Volunteer to Serve on DA's Panel Investigating Sandra Bland's Death
Miriam Rozen, Texas Lawyer
July 29, 2015

Few other lawyers want to join Darrell W. Jordan on a panel to investigate the death of Sandra Bland in Waller County, said the solo criminal defense attorney from Houston.

Jordan is one of two lawyers serving on the panel, which the Waller County District Attorney launched this week to investigate the death of Bland.

.....

The well-known Houston criminal defense lawyer Dick DeGuerin said he would not agree to serve on the panel.

The idea of the district attorney appointing volunteer lawyers from the community or nearby to serve on an investigating panel "smells of a cover-up," DeGuerin said, adding, "It's gonna look like a whitewash."

All I have to say is this. We need to stop telling our children everything has changed and we have the same rights as whites. It is evident we do not. We understood this when we were growing up. But because our children are going to school with them and socializing with them they feel they can do what they do. It ain't necessarily so and we need to teach our children survival skills. This is the same racist country I grew up in. Just because we see Black folk on TV and we don't have to ride on the back of the bus does not mean anything. White folk proved how they feel about Black folk when Barack Obama was elected president and he is TRULY half white. Integration has never been this country's goal after emancipation. They have proven it time and time again. Yeah, you will find "good" white folk here and there and maybe even a pocket of them if you are lucky but believe you me.....for those in control and those who have no control (white folk I am talking about) that is not the case. As long as we work for them or entertain them they are content to tolerate us...and that goes for law enforcers too. Why do you think there are separate police unions?

Look at the reactions after the verdict in the Zimmerman trial.

I have a feeling that some of them will not look too good when this is finished.

I've said this from the start. When the dust settles, they will look bad and it will seem as if Sandra Bland died for no reason even if no one goes to jail over it i.e. Mike Brown. People will get sued and money will be paid out but no amount of money will be worth the pain of the reasoning behind her death.

I don't think black men are being blamed...I think they are referencing the aggressiveness of Sandra etc....to me its bullshit. She could mouth off all she wanted and when the officer made the decision to issue her a warning he could have laughed it all off.

Sandra probably would have called the police department and complained...officer would have been talked to...

Cops should have more restraint and control over their emotions. It's like my father would tell me concerning his military training, it's certain ways he had to respond to things.
My wife told me a story, back before we met, about how a cop pulled her over in MS and gave her ticket. She said she called him a "prick". I told her not to ever do that shat again....just take the ticket and get to where she was going. I can tell it never sank in, but after Sandra Bland's death, I think she now knows that she's not even immune to the fallout that can come from being hostile.

I've been pulled over at least 10 times over the past 10 years and only once was I actually cited. They say that 15% of officers will wake up in the morning and abuse their power at all costs. 15% will report for duty and do the right thing no matter what. The other 70% will just go with the flow depending on the situation, who their partner is, etc. I've been fortunate not to run into that 15%, where my cordiality won't even matter.
