Stop trying to justify JSU's thieving ways :lol:! From all the footage i watch on line i didn't hear JSU play Let's Stay Together once in 07! I noticed GSU played it a lot in 07, even when they battled JSU's band in the 5th so keep the lies to yourself! Everyone knows JSU has always copied, come on, it's not rocket science! It's just something about Mississippi HBCU's and originality! So JSU has been playing Under Pressure and Hay the same time that SU has played it? Hell to the no! JSU steals! Just face up to it! Hell SU made the Boom change their entire sound, that should tell you something! They knew they need a new sound to compete with the Jukebox but didn't think of the other element needed! Arrangements! Something JSU has lacked for some years now!:retard:

I know no one from JSU isn't talking about garbage arrangements! The Sonic Doom and their arrangements along with them need to be placed in the farthest waste facility possible! JSU hasnt had decent arrangements since Magruder departed! Those high school @ss arrangements that JSU think are something, not hitting on nadda and those country @ss people in Mississippi really think that country @ss band be doing something!:lol:

First of all,...JSU DID NOT play that song at all in 07.
You are missing the point. Yes,...it's free for any band to play but, Grambling inspired you to play it.

I personally got problems with bands that play and do (steals) the same thing another band is doing. I don't want fans looking at a Grambling show saying "they got that from Southern" or "they got that from FAMU". You guys play" Golden Time Of Day ",...fine. I'm not going to play the same song at you and take it on the road unless my arrangement is better. I would play another Maze tune at you just as musical. Learn from our history when the white artist stole all the black folk"s music. The truth will come to light. People want to see the real thing and not an imitation. Do you know how boring it is to see marching bands playing the same song in a parade??? People are starving for new innovation and not modified imitations.

I hear some accents in your version that is not in the original song but we put that syncopation in ours!!!!

Both bands played Swang when it first came out! That was 06! Grambling only played it in 06 and 06 only, SU still plays it and PV still plays it! I can count on one hand the amount of rap songs Grambling keeps on a year to year basis! I'm sure Legend wasn't bashing JSU, he was just thanking JSU lol! Now JSU and SU can continue their fight lol!
