Da boom is good but I'm have to rolled wit da BOX as the top drum section wit Funktrain a close 2nd. Da Boom cadences be to long and repetitive.

I was just talking about the topic of this thread. Let's just say I agree to disagree. And Sgt, we could have done without the BOX poster in this thread. As usual, you help feed into that "The BOX is nothing but flips and tricks" BS.

Those pictures are a plus to the EXTRA skills and talents of those kids.....
 
Dude....don't start that crap over here. All I said was that those 3 pics give ammunition to those who already feel that way. BTW, this thread is NOT about PV.

OK...Kevin....slow down, and read each word carefully.

He made the topic about JSU. I just said that I agree to disagree. I also stated that by posting those pics, it feeds into the misconception (that means people thinking the wrong way) that all PV does is flips and tricks. I really don't care how many times you saw them, nor did I say that's what you were implying by posting the pics.

It's REALLY simple. Now lets not turn this thread into one of THOSE threads....And Cleve (a smart person) understood what I meant.


As for WT, they have always been pretty together and tight, but their cadences, like many others, just don't move me.
 



War n' Thunder got ate up by Funk Train in Shreveport at a high school battle of the bands in 2004 in front of Thousands of Fans during Labor Day Weekend! War n' Thunder cadences are so boring to me, that's just my opinion so don't get ya panties in a buch lol! I don't think it's clear to say that there is a #1 percussion section in the SWAC because each are good at what they do! I'm glad there is a lof of variety in the SWAC! Thanks God for that!

Well then u missed the battle that happened 1 year later in 2005 in Veteran's Memorial stadium.....it was the other way around that time :)


And Cleve, lets not get on yall....."The Box feat. The Marching Storm".....

w/o Box, where would PV be?? :D

We'd STILL have a good band. But that ain't what this thread is about. Overall, I find Jackson's section TOGETHER, and solid, just boring.

I haven't seen one of these brewing in a long time :ebrow:


Anyway for the sake of not seeming biased I could leave PV out of this and still put Pine Bluff, TxSU, Bama State, GSU and even some of what I have seen of Valley over JSU.
