Right I keep saying the schools are to blame for all these ugly, trendy outdated uniforms...I wish JSU would just have classic look with a solid navy and white look...

Adidas Techfit has best fit without breaking the bank meaning our HBCUs can afford that...Nike jerseys look as big as Russell gear unless you are getting the top of the line jerseys in which you have to pay extra for..If you arent a top FCS or FBS program I would go with Adidas...Tenn State has done well with Adidas...

I said it before. It's hard for most of the teams in the SWAC to mess it up with our school colors. I agree with you about JSU. I like those AAMU uniforms. They aren't trying to do much with them. PV does well with their unis
I like it best when Valley K.I.S.S. with solid green or solid white (wish we had a solid black or solid red) but we do well with not doing too much with our colors

Yanno! LOL...You would think USM would've done something differently or at least had an all-gold set.
But really, all of our schools have great color schemes. It's a shame that the coaches/ADs picked terrible combos or went really, really cheap with them unis

I need JSU to go back to the red logo and face masks.
It's just something about Southern's all-whites on a sunny fall Saturday that looks super clean. Now if only we can get them dark blue numbers off the Columbia jerseys and replace them with white numbers with gold piping like the old school Chargers joints ***sigh *** #CantHaveItAll
@In_The_662 I would pull out the all-red Valley joints on Homecomings. The all-white joints with the green secondary color is awesome IMO

That Russell version of all black is the cheapest looking crap of all time for GSU. The Red jersey over black is the worst uniform in college football.
The Russell sets in the Broadway era we pretty good. I wish we went back to that look.

They can buy however many adidas uniforms they can afford.
Meanwhile, Russell gives us a catalog full of crap and then we choose from the crap designs they have...that's just great.
The all black and all white uniforms we got, we actually had to raise money to get those. I noticed those two sets of uniforms, no other MEAC/SWAC team has...so what exactly do our teams have to choose from?
Contact your school and find out. SU, TxSU, PV, etc have had no problems creating their uniform designs.

It's not that hard. It's been pointed out a few times in this thread and others that it generally falls on the AD and/or coach concerning this. If the unis look cheap/bad, it's because that is what they choose (being lazy) not specifically on Russell.
It's because Russell sucks...and I'm very cool with the equipment staff at FAMU...this is just convo for the message board and the people who love the trash Russell puts out lol

Exactly. JCole had designed these to honor our 1952 National Championship team and they weren't in the catalog.
*He did get fined for that Nike pullover vest. LOL
So in other words, you're program can choose to look shitty if it wants by going with the standard designs found on page 3-6 of the catalog.
