Proud of them. :smash:
Just got back from my looooooooong lunch.
I finally saw what's going on.
They putting 2 and 3 guy's trapping TREY everytime the ball comes his way.
It's all good though.![]()
Jackson State left it on the court and played hard and smart. Florida was just has WAY too much talent to stay close to them.
I'm proud that JSU won the SWAC, but the conference still has a long way to go to compete with the major programs.
Just don't have enough size up front and consistent shooting to keep up.
Add quickness and athleticism to that size.
Anyway, despite the second half I think that Florida can be had in this tournament.
The rebounds killed us. We could not get ANY!! The shooting could have been better if we could got some rebounds amd made some easy baskets.
But yep, they left it on the floor. That's that JSU heart!!! You gotta be born with that!!

It depends on whether or not the team has Floridas undivided attention. We got the Gators undivided attention in the second half and got run out of the gym. I suspect that would happen to each of the 64 teams in the field.Add quickness and athleticism to that size.
