Once JayRob felt compelled to come to TGO's defense, I realized that my points were valid and relevant. It's clear that it's not black pride that has them so concerned about what Grambling band does. It's simply a matter of envy and lack of appreciation of self. Always being concerned about what someone thinks really is an indication that you feel somewhat inferior to that entity. I really hate to see such weakness and inherent awe of "the other folk" from young educated Black men. I will ease up on them now... it's serves no purpose (for me) to tear them down. I pray that others who are close to them will counsel with them. Maybe there's someone "logical" enuff in their camp to help them. I might just "pm" my homeboy Beans... I don't think he has the same concern for what "people" say.

PS: I really am sorry I had to expose that flaw but hell, it wasn't getting any better and here we are in the year 2008.

Hell, at the ULM game, your band couldn't even play the kind of songs your director wanted to play. He had to play when the White director gave him the signal, THEN he played. Hell, he even sang in front of 'em. Now THAT is some kind of embarassing.:smh:
