Madonna looked damned good though.

Right! Madonna was looking good. Looks like she has lost some weight.

Did yall check out Randy Jackson from American Idol thumping bass during the Sly tribute. I also saw Nile Rodgers playing guitar back there.

Yep saw Former SU Jukeboxer Randy Jackson and Nile Rodgers handling up. Also wasn't that Patrice Rushen on keyboards? Talk about an all star band.

.....and I would have told Alicia Keys, "You can keep that Harmonica Boo".

She was fugging up one of my favorite Stevie Wonder songs: "Higher Ground".

As much as I love and support Fantasia, I'm gon ask her to stop hollering in the forkin microphone.

Agreed...she overusing it.

Fantasia just get back to singing the song...you do that wonderfully, you ain't got to yell ALL the bless-ed time.

One word for yall...

KANYE.FOR.PRESIDENT-KNIIIICCAH!

I think Kelly Clarkson proved that she's the best American Idol to date.

Fantasia and Mary J Blige should be banned from singing live for a year.

After listening to Mary tell her story, I think she gest overcome with emotion in her songs.

Fantasia...I think it is a black church (from the country) thing. It is showing emotion in a song especiallly when you get in the spirit...but Fantasia didn't have enough time to get in the spirit on that Sly Stone song...so I'm gon' ask her to stop hollering in the microphone....her voice is excellent without it.

Just like I want Patti LaBelle to stop doing runs...just sing the song from beginning to end.

HIGHLY DEBATABLE. We can agree to disagree on that person....

This pic is actually decent compared to live action. I heard this was his first public appearance in 19 years. :scared:

Over all, I thought the Grammys was boring. I watched bits and pieces of the show. I did like the Kenye and Jamie Foxx performance with the FAMU band.

The best Grammy Awards that I saw was back in the early 80's when Michael Jackson performed Songs from his 'Thriller' Album. Man that dude was off the chain. When he did the Moon Walk that just added extra excitment. I was a kid, but I still remember that performance like it was yesterday.

I think that was the American Music Awards.

I was laughing every time Mariah and Kanye lost. My wife and I always debate over Kelly Clarkson but I think that her songs have great content and she had soooo many hits off of her last album. I was glad she took home some gold.
