WTF would we want to hear from Duer for? The SWAC Council of Prezs have already spoken. :emlaugh: What will the puppet say outside of reiterating what they already voted for?

The best thing Duer could do is keep his mouth shut. :|

If he wants to stay employed he better just be a "yes" man. LOL

I hope yall now see who calls the shots on this bullisht.

Put it in a memo and e-mail everybody. lol He's trying to make himself bigger than what he really is IMO.

SWAC Council of Presidents, the gangsta' muthafuggahs who REALLY run the gott damned SWAC conference! :slap: :emlaugh:

Well, SU has an opening for one game in 2010. We already are playing at McNeese, so will SU continue with Tennessee State, or play another FBS team?

The answer was right in front of them.....they played 9 and it didn't work out, they switched back to 7 and it wasn't enough. Hmmmm wouldn't 8 be the perfect number to play....4 from each division and rotate 1 off every year from the opposing division.

If I know these Pres's - they probably either didn't think of the 8 game format - or the 8 game format was not presented to them...

this basketball move isn't new...it was like that in 2001 or something like that.....but like Fiyah said, if we go back to the format rivalry games need to be on two weekends whne school is in

“I think in the end, they were all of one voice,†Sharp said. “Even some of the bigger schools who shouldn’t have a problem getting those games were saying they would go back for the betterment of the conference.â€

“When I was at Grambling, people were always calling you wanting to play,†Sharp said. “Grambling doesn’t have to solicit games, but there are those schools who do. For those who don’t have the name of a Grambling or Jackson State or Southern, it hurts their ability to get those games. When you went to the 7-game mandate, you went with the hopes they would play up, to get some revenue games. It just never worked out that way.â€

Well. JSU's growing a nice patch of grass for the girls soccer team and the new tennis facility is nice. So it isn't all bad...

That is too much like common sense for these people............. :emlaugh:

"Some schools really had problems scheduling 10 ballgames," Braddy said. "The money games, for some of the schools just didn't come forward ... including us."

Braddy said the problem for JSU is that opponents want the Sonic Boom to perform, but the cost eats into the would-be profits from scheduling the game. He used an opportunity with Eastern Michigan as an example, saying it offered $375,000 but demanded the band.

"It really didn't make sense," Braddy said. "We need to clear $300,000 after expenses

Now i see why TNST never bothered with the SWAC, it's so much dead weight in this conference and Off Brand Azz Schools that can't schedule 10 freaking games out of all these years in existence, their AD's have no balls at all! So scared of change and taking chances!:shame:!

Our conference sucks!!! Play every team in the conference then turn around and have a meaningless championship game. Great. Just great!!! :kaioken: :kaioken: :kaioken: :upset: :upset: :upset:

Them Hy Top schools that couldn't get 10 damn games and had a hard time scheduling 10 games are partying right now!

The 9 game mandate is nothing but welfare. Instead of posting comments on this message board about the 9 game mandate, we should have emailed, wrote letters or called our AD's and Presidents to voice our opinions against the 9 game mandate.

You do know Rudy Washington turned Tenn State down right, well they only wanted to accept the football program, and not accept the rest of their sports programs, because they were in trouble with the NCAA. That why they went to the OVC.
