okThere is new information that is coming down the pike.

Oh I have that... just looked. I just don't have the SWAC bylaws.Just what I heard. It is hard to verify though because the MEAC bylaws, while online, are password protected.
There is new information that is coming down the pike.
I don't think you guys are wrong.I hope it is new because us Texas Southern peeps want to be wrong like you wouldn't believe.
Blame the SWAC Presidents who have allowed BS for decades.
Uh, that would be 'parted' since we are being all philosophical. They could have moved it all to Jackson and you wouldn't have heard a peep from me, so long as we didnt go fuggin BROKE trying to make it rain.
A fool and his money are soon departed.
Uhhhhhh, what 10 million?Whats zero minus zero?
Now, whats zero minus 10 million?
I don't think you guys are wrong.
and y'all want to be mad if someone thinks about leaving the conference! could you blame them?
Huh? I don't think anyone on these boards had any say so in the SWAC's decision to move from Bham to Houston. But you obviously take pleasure in laughing at your own school as well considering they are right there with everyone else.
The one thing I NEVER do is deflect. But don't confuse deflection with me simply calling BS on a invalid point.
The way it reads.... The presidents control it all either way. They, at the time, agreed to it and still decide the distribution.Once a new commissioner is named that bylaw has to be revised.
It really challenges the mind trying to figure out how ten presidents signed off on putting the operations of the conference office ahead of the institutions they serve. The institutions that have/had them under contract.
But don't confuse deflection with me simply calling BS on a invalid point.Kenn, stop with the Tom & Jerry act. YOU saw me post in here saying I couldn't care less what town its in so long as its a fiscally responsible decision.
Well, unfortunately, I understand the reasoning for the rule. If you don't have the money to keep the conference operable, you don't have a conference at all. I've said it before and I will say it again. When you have a merry-go-around of SWAC presidents coming in and out, combined with a commissioner who clearly had no clue, this is the end result. The way it reads.... The presidents control it all either way. They, at the time, agreed to it and still decide the distribution.
But don't confuse deflection with me simply calling BS on a invalid point.
