SWAC Footbal This Season...Critique YOUR School

Alum, JSU will be lucky if they have enough players to have a season. You see they got Cletus playing "Iron Man" ball.

Ummmmm yes! Your Offensive Coordinator! :snicker:

You couldn't beat us without him, so what hope do you have WITH him? Boy I tell you...talk about mindless.

If you had the sense God gave a chicken, you'd be more concerned with YOUR offensive coordinator...and your head coach?.

You hope I see what?

If you're referring to Mr. SWAC's post, I did, and I'm glad he repsonded to my question. I didn't smack A&M, and he responded to a honest question in a honest way in the spirit of this thread. He gave an honest crititque. Maybe you should take note.

NICE

Amazing...you still don't get it.

I guess he's trying to say that SU needs a separate QB coach... I say "why" when we have had the SWAC POTY at QB the last 2 seasons?
I guess he doesn't know that J C is a lefty.

Alcornite, We need a QB, I have no faith in Bozeman or Hobson. We need Spillers getting deep to open anything else up. Also will we be able to stop the run this yr, teams killed us on the ground.
you think you will be able to stop the run, or you know for a fact that DaCorn will stop the run.

The defense will be the biggest question mark, though they should be greatly improved from last year. This unit may surprise some folk, there's size, and depth on the defensive line, speed, and range at linebacker, and the secondary returns SWAC Freshman Of The Year Jarmaul George, along with a few highly touted incoming freshmen, and transfers.

Not anymore

COACH, the QB position has been AAMU's achilles heel since coming into the SWAC. What other problems do you see us having since you without a doubt dissagree?

So again...do you think your only problem is at QB?

D-NICE said:
You dayum right I'm sure about that. We lost some starters, but we got some back. From what I understand Kevin Mack was granted another year of eligiblity, Jarmaul George will return to his starting role, Rayland Johnson will be back, Darwin Hammond will be back at safety, and Jarvis Bridges will return to his starting role at the other corner. So again, yes we will be greatly improved on defense.

Quincy's first 1/4 year as a starter was in David Oliver's first year as the OC, his previous 3 years were under Mark Orlando, but after being in Oliver's system for 2 years, Quincy blossomed, the same for Ricks, and this same situation will apply for JC. Different coaching system, different results, being a football man you should understand that. Research, research, research.

I don't know why a lot of you GSU people think you are the only ones who can improve, it must be something in the water, or something.

NICE
Man you know Southern ain't got nothing....... This years team isn't better than last years team, which wasn't that good...... :infect:

I havent officially posted what I think what our team will do...

The offense I knew would have to come around.. so far so good...

But to be honest, I think our only weakness has been our BIGGEST problem for years... cant win on the road... if we can go to Huntsville and Grambling and win those games, we should win... the defense is just good enough I think to beat the teams we should be and keep us in the games against the "elite" teams...

Oh yeah.. I am glad we finally beat two schools that werent from TX this year... :lmao:

:

...Your best chance is at Huntsville...come October when all transfers at Grambling are eligible, winning could be a monumental task!!!

Spears didn't send the game tape because he didn't want Washington State to see Grambling. He was too shame to show him A&M. That would have brought shame on the entire Black college football kingdom.

Damn you A&M.
