Most importantly, some 1,462 fans came to watch the Southern men’s basketball team do what it always does at home against archrival Grambling: win.
By the end of the night, the fans, and the Jaguars, were severely disappointed.
In erasing a small deficit down the stretch to grab a 49-45 win, the Tigers were aided, in no small part, by Southern’s cold shooting, sloppy offense and a rogue disc jockey. :lol:

I don't think PV laid an egg. TSU git more aggressive in the 2nd half and started going to the hole more and utilizing their height advantage. If anything, TSU laid and egg in the first half with only 19 points.

True dat.....Once sTu stopped sitting back in that damned zone (because Griffin was picking it apart anyway) and began putting pressure on the ball the game changed. Back to back turn overs and becoming more aggressive helped to speed up the game and get sTu in a rhythm. I'm upset it took so long to make the adjustment. We never should have been down by 12 to PV.

Plus After losing 3 Big seniors, he's due for a down year. Now if he ends up having consecutive bad years (like Spivery) then let's call for his head.

I don't think that just started. For one, in order to abandon the ship, you have to first, be on the ship. Even in the past 2 years, we COULD have been better. Again, we had the TALENT.
It seems like he is trying to COACH too much instead of letting the guys play now and I believe that's where the frustration is coming in.
What good does it do to go out and sign a "high-scoring" athletes only to limit them within the offense? :read:

We keep this mess up & we're no better than those Jaguars who post on this site. Again I say, Rimm has brought good and bad.. Don't be so quick to abandon.
