The women’s basketball game scheduled between Alabama State and Mississippi Valley State slated to be played on Monday, January 3 has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols with the MVSU program.

The women’s basketball game scheduled between Alcorn State and Jackson State slated to be played on Monday, January 3 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 5.

The men’s basketball game scheduled between Prairie View A&M and Grambling State slated to be played on Monday, January 3 has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols with the PVAMU program.

The men’s basketball game scheduled between Alcorn State and Jackson State slated to be played on Monday, January 3 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 5.

These actions follow the guidelines and protocols set forth by the league and its Sports Administrators Committee and COVID-19 Advisory Committee
 



JSU vs Alcorn has been rescheduled to Wednesday

GSU vs PVAMU Mbb has been canceled due to COVID issues.

Some people were looking at me like I was odd because I never stop wearing my gaiter during OOC at home when most people knew a fourth wave was coming

People on here suggested the bubble thing last year but they didn't listen. Now you are expecting 18-22 year olds to be responsible outside of game settings. Yeah I didn't trust the jab but I trust college students less and got it lol

These games can be made up if needed and mutually agreed upon by both schools

we lost ALOT over the break.... leading scorer, girl from Liberty among others.

O ok well that's better than being injured. We have some folks that haven't hit the floor yet. Is the game at PB?
 
Valley rarely has more players than a team but this time ASU had just 8 players and still won with an assistant leading the team smh (Trey Johnson (yeah THAT Trey Johnson) coached the team due to Mo being with his wife giving birth to their child)

I'm gonna just chalk it up to the long lay off (2 weeks) and hope they play better Wednesday
