I thought SU has solid pitchers, my bad. listening to this game made me lean more towards PV.

Alright, on to the Devils. :read: I don't like that fact that we had to use so many pitchers. But, hopefully Doc Foster will come out of graduation ready to go for the long haul this afternoon and take us to another day.

Coming out of the losers bracket ain't no joke.

We've got to get these pitchers to get rid of the walks and HBPs. And more consistant hitting with runners on base would be a bonus to help space out these tight games.

Go get a meal, hydrate some more and rest until 2pmish.

Pitching has been solid all year. Didn't Kendrick post that SU had the best ERA in the league. It is tourney time when anything can happen. That does not take away from having good pitching. Hell you see that in MLB. The Braves had the best pitching staff during the 90s and could only muster one World Series title. I suffered through some of those losses as a Braves fan. These are young guys and the pressure is on them to win after that 16 in a row and playing at home for the tourney.
