Southern to begin search for new softball coach


I am real sorry to see Nancy go. IMHO, I understand 6-42 is not acceptable, but giving the program proper facilities and support is also important. I don't know if we can get her, but Trina Peel turned around the program at Hampton in 2 years. She may want to come back to Baton Rouge.

I liked Nancy also, but business is business. Valley doesn't have great facilities and they win.

Thank you. She won years ago with those same facilities. It's crazy how she recruit certain players and they leave her team after 1 year. The girl from Arizona for example.
 
Valley offers other scholarships to offset what they don't have and they redid their field a few years back in 2005....SU may have the worst softball field in the West...(I'm hating..nevermind :rolleyes:)

You are. Like I said, SU's field will be redone shortly. Aint no may, you are hating, PV has the worst football, basketball, baseball, and track faclities in the west. Yall still have won, so stop it with the bs.

I get around. Maybe TSU and PV what and what baseball, but who else in the West does PV have better basketball facilities.

Exactly. LOL. Folks in BR knew that before the season started and really knew once we got off to such a bad start. I think Reggie (Bigtyme) talked about it on the Jag Journal early in the season.

Its crazy man. We can start a thread saying SU gets new janitorial worker and bandfan and our typical jsu followers will try and convince us they have the world's best janitorial workers as well as the #1 mop in the swac. :lol: :lmao:
