Sooooo we gonna talk about this latest Drake diss by Pusha T or nah?

Other than Kendrick Lamar and Talib Kweli, I listen to nothing but old school these days. I don't understand the style and content, nor the I feel the beats of what current rappers are talking about but I tell you what....

When I kept hearing about Pusha T's diss. I checked out whatever song he had about Drake. He took one of Jay Z's current beats (Still n***a) which I kinda liked and did his own thing on it. I kinda like it. It felt very old school. I would not put Pusha T in my top 15 or 20 MCs and I still don't know anything bout him or Drake (other than he is Larry Graham of the Family Stone and GCS little nephew who may have messed with Rhinna or something and pissed Chris Brown off...).

If you on Instagram, Pete Rock has this video with an old school Jay Z nodding his head, Bill Cosby dancing, and Kanye slick nodding but don't want you to know he's digging it...

<------Yes I'm purposely ranting and raving cause something recent in Rap Music actually caught my attention for a short minute......LOL!!!!
Pusha T is 41 years old. He's basically bordering old school.

So you read the title, see what the thread is about and come in to let everyone know you don't care lol Why tho

Push used that "Story of OJ" beat ...
... talked about Drake not being black enough
... then put that old pic of Drake in blackface

Bruuuuuuuuuuuh!

Push isn't in the top 20 all-time. However, he's been one of the best at the moment. Just really been doing features and stuff the last few years. Although like 80 percent of his rhymes are dope-related, Push got bars and good wordplay.

I don't care. Sorry if I offended you. LOL!!!! Hell, until I read this thread, I had never heard of Pusha T and from reading some of the other posts in this thread, I ain't the only one.

Okay, so I barley knew who Drake was, never knew who Pusha T was but...somebody school me some more. Who exactly is J Prince? I saw the Breakfast Club interview. He sounded more like a Church Deacon in a Southern Baptist Church but I did my research to discover he was the founder of Rap-a-Lot records and was a boxing promoter....

But these youtube clips and stuff give me the impression that he has some type of clout in the streets. People seemed to be intimidated by him. It's made to see that he called the beef off. Then I am hearing all of these Suge Knight type stories about how intimidating he is...

Is there any truth to what I've learned? Maybe I never knew about him because he is indeed a low key type person with much power in the music game?
