You guys don't get it. Mitch was the #1 high school QB in the nation. He went to Arkansas and simply because DUMB NUTT didn't want to look DUMB by allowing the offensive coordinator play his playbook, Mitch suffered.
The only reason McFadden shined is because the OC had to be creative and get him the ball. If McFadden was all of that, why didn't we hear ANYTHING about him before Mitch and his high school coach got to Arkansas? It was the high school coach who made McFadden who he is, not NUTT. McFadden would have been playing at UAPB in a season or two like all of the other LOST TALENT in Fayetteville.
Mitch played with 4 other guys who got D1A scholarships on his high school team. I'm talking about offers to top football schools (Notre Dame, Florida, etc) and at the specialty positions (QB, wide reciever, tight end). He will be surrounded with the best talent that money can recruit at USC and he will be in the NFL.
Sperm you can continue to blame Houston Nutt all you want, but the kid wasn't getting the job done, and Nutt did the right thing by benching him. The kid had one less INT than he did touchdowns, and it wasn't like they were winning because of him, they won despite him. Nutt couldn't sacrifice his team because of Mustain.
So what happens when Mustain gets to SC, and can't beat anybody out? Just think Chris Leak was the number 1 player coming out of high school his senior year, but Reggie Bush was clearly the best player of that class, and mind you, that class also included JaMarcus Russell.
If his dad is around, he'd tell his mother to keep her mouth shut, and let the boy grow up. Just because you're the number 1 player coming out of high school doesn't mean you're going to have immediate success in the collegiate game. Ask Ryan Perriloux is gonna be the starter when LSU opens the season against Mississippi State this year, and this will be his 3rd year at LSU.
The kid should've just done like every other big name recruit does, when things don't go right their freshman year, and just came back this year, and got better, but him, and that WR are going to find out just how hard playing time is to come by at SC, especially with them having to sit out this season, with another highly touted class of freshmen coming in this year, that's going to be ahead of them, by the time they strap up next year.
This kid reminds me of Brock Berlin when he was the number 1 player coming out of high school, and he couldn't beat out a less heralded Rex Grossman at Florida, and ended up transferring to Miami, and still wasn't schit.
