Dr. folks get arrested and charged quite frequently for making threats against President Obama. Just recently an 81-year-old man got pinched.
All these cases might not get concentrated national attention, but to say threats against Obama have gone ignored is being disingenuous, as is relating treatment of those who speak out against homosexuality to lynching.
These same arguments are made when a prominent white person gets backlash for saying ******. "They can say ******, but we can't!"
Again, people can say what they wanna say. But, they have to deal with whatever ramifications come along with those statements.
