Listen up PV, GSU, SU ASU, etc. We have a capabale AD at the helm and he knows numbers. Let's evaluate:

1) This game is a TSU home game which means no revenue split with PV
2) 12,000 seat venue-tickets will probably be priced at $20. Let's say 8,000 x $20.00 = $160,000. So, can you say we will easliy clear at least $100,000.
3) Keep the game at delamar and I see $$$ signs
4) The atmosphere is going to be electric

tsu is a non-factor and was easily replaced with a more important game. Lets be real, the Labor Day Classic is the ONLY game that both of the tsu fans care about. Y'all should be honored that we even play you at all. If you're comfortable getting beat at a smaller venue like Delmar then thats fine with most Panthers.

Wow. 12 more year and this statement will have some validity.

This is some bull, we were told back in 2002, that no one can play on that raggety put together field a day before the Texans game. We were forced to have the game next door at the Astrodome. However, the very next year 2003, Rice U. played Univ. of Texas on Sep. 20 and the Texans played Kansas City the next day same field. What's up with that?

Bayou Classic 2005 was played Nov. 26, 2005 (Reliant Stadium)
Texans played St.Louis the next day Nov. 27, 2005

hmmmmmmmmmmm.

That was because of Hurricane Katrina, special circumstance. Remember we also had the Labor Day Classic that same weekend in Reliant. The same company that runs the Super Dome runs Reliant.

Sounds like some BS to me!!!! LOL. Well I could care less were TSU-PV plays their small time classic, but I sure hope SU-TSU ain't at Delmar. If yall can't do no better than that, I think Mumford is available that weekend. I can try to get yall a good deal.

Please stop call this game a "classic." It's just a NORMAL football game for all the localers care. :emlaugh:

There are only 3 classics in Texas, the State Fair, Red River, and then the Cotton Bowl. :D

What is your alternative? We (sTu), at present, do not have a home field. That is a fact and that horse has been beaten to death. If playing at Delmar accommodates the crowd and puts money in our (sTu) pockets then to hell with what anyone else says or thinks.

regardless...its delmar...

+1. Damned everybody and do you sTu. Labor Day "Classic..." How laughable.

It would not bother me at all to go to Blackshire. The tailgating experience would be bananas. All I need is enough notice rent me a motorhome.

If you think the suite holders will turn over now since there's no suites at Delmar....just imagine Blackshear :emlaugh:

Chattabox would have to broadcast from the roof :emlaugh:

Problem is that after the PV game, TSU fans won't so up like that for the rest of the season. Not enough school spirit on the campus.

PV y'all should make their azz come to Blackshear next year.

See with this statement right here you can tell you young and don't understand that football at all institutions is about making money, having the game at blackshear wouldn't hurt TSU it would be hurting PVU football.

I know it is about money but PV should put some temporary bleachers out. Their stadium seats 6,000, and Delmar is 12. Your point about me being young is invalid because I see some old people on this board who run around and don't know squat.

What Blackshear y'all talking of that seats 6K? :emlaugh: Ahhhhhhhhhhhh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii... maybe 4K tops w/ SRO for a cajillion more. lol
