One Love by New Edition


Ok, I hate to say this, but I like "That's Why I Lied". I DO NOT like the subject matter, but they made the song so dang catchy that I find myself singing along to it even though he's saying he lied to keep things the way they should be.

Can someone help me understand why Ronnie says at the end, "This is for the ladies, for my sistas, my black sistas...etc.". I don't get it...why would you dedicate a song about lying to the sistas? :rolleyes:

Maybe I'm missing something...
 
I bought the cd. I gave it away after 2 spins. It sucks..I'm sorry. I'm a huge N.E. fan but this CD sucks.
