New Mexico Safety Arrested

:retard:

So is the battle that he's a black man walking through the airport and he has to know better or is the battle that he shouldn't have his pants sagging?!?!

B/c if the battle is number 1, or even part of #1...then you're kind of agreeing with me...the agent was fugging with him b/c he's black.

we're talking about an airline agent here...not TSA security or airport cop. An Airline Agent!!

When has an AIRLINE AGENT ever stopped you to tell you anything about rules other than how many bags you can take on the plane?!?!?!

I was in Nashville's airport waiting on Southwest flight...when you had to stand in line for your spot vs. now with the number on the boarding pass. I left my bag in line while I was sitting probably 20 ft. away. The airline agent saw the bag the whole time it was sitting there for at least 15 mins didn't say anything. An Airport cop came over and told me I had to be with the bag. No problem...i stood with the bag.

The purpose of the story above is not the fact that I complied with the police officer and didn't go back and forth...the point is that the AIRLINE AGENT said nothing!

I travel often and I've NEVER been give a rule by an airline agent. :shame:

IMO...shouldnt have had his pants sagging. He should have complied with the airline agent, pulled his trousers up and be done with it! Thats my personal take on it. Now, one could EASILY say because of his skin color AND his attire, they picked on him. Is that the case here? Hard to say.

I make it a point to fly business casual. Thats's me.

Oh...dont worry...Rev Al, Jesse and Mike Baisden will be all over this one REAL soon.

Like I said earlier, if dude was willing to go through security and the inspections that go along with that, he should have no problem taking a few seconds to pull up his pants.

Man please. You just mad because you ain't kool, will never be kool, and will never be in the kol group. Sut your butt down and go read a book some where.

That's what I said...a few SECONDS to adjust his pants...and none of this would have happened.

Before anyone goes on a rant, yes wearing your pants sagging is the most disgusting thing you can do. I think it is sick. My only problem is that America always wanna change the rules when it comes down to certain groups. As long as that group can run, jump, sing and dance they love the mess out of you. Typical American values!!!

I still stand by this.

Gotta learn to pick your battles. If that was me and I had been arrested because I refused to pull my pants up when asked, my folks would have pimped slapped me.

Do you know folks told Dr. King the same thing? They were mad at him because he was speaking up.

I mean...every post is that of someone's personal opinion, that's understood.

But what if you didn't listen to your mom and chose to wear that outfit...and you got stopped, wouldn't you want someone to have your back on such a silly argument?! I mean again...in my personal opinion :lol:he was simply about to board a plane.

Why y'all always gotta throw Al, Jesse and Baisden in the mix...quit hating on them b/c they protest everything!!

They don't get it SS. This is bigger than sagging pants. This is the typical jealous others, who is mad because that boy plays football. You folks gotta learn to open your eyes and look at the bigger picture. He was already on the plane. With him sitting down. Why did his pants matter?

How do you know the airline personnel knew he played football unless he was wearing gear from his school? The story says that the kid's pants were sagging so low that his underwear was exposed.

If that is the case, then it seems there was nothing wrong with the official telling the young man to pull his pants up. If that was not the case, then one has to examine other motives for him being targeted.

You can't compare MLK speaking up for civil and human rights to a kid who refused to pull up his pants because an airline agent could see his underwear. SMH.

I notice that too. These folks hate you if you speak up. The only reason these folks don't have jail records from college is because they just didn't get caught. They have drove drunk. Smoked weed, hazed folks in their orgs, done all type of stupid stuff, yet they judge college kids and young folks all day long. I thank they mad because they getting old if you ask me. Yeah they made bad decisions in college, but now they act like it didn't happen.

At that time...I was a Freshman in college, still at home and going against her wasn't an option. Also...saggin was NOT the thing to do back then(from what I remember). I was taught at an EARLY age what that meant too.

To some it is silly...to me, its not even an argument.

And Im not hating on Jesse, Al and Mike Baisden. Just dont be surprised when you hear it coming from them.

You ain't never left chi-town have you? :shame: There are only a handful of black folks who fly into Albuquerque,Nm. You are either a sports player, military or supporting the government flying into that area.

He's not comparing the sagging to MLK he's comparing your comment about picking and choosing battles.

You just keep following the rules we don't want your folks pimp slapping you!!

My dad warned me at like age 6 to never let him catch me sagging. I always thought it was tacky and disrespectful.

He warned you about drinking, having sex before marriage, and white women, but that didn't stop you either did it?

I already know you setting up the Jena 6 type march on the airport right now. Everybody in Harvey sag. LOL

If kids want to sag their pants and expose their underwear, let them do so. Anyone who says anything about it is not kool, a racist or uppity.

People who sag need to have their rights protected just like minorities, women and homosexuals.
