IF ANYONE HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THE VIDEO GAME GAME ,POST IT FOR ME SO I CAN KNOW WHEN IT COME OUT, BECAUSE I'M READY TO RUN A SEASON WITH A BLACK COLLEGE TEAM ON THAT TIGHT A** REALISTIC GAME ON PS2.

I just hope it is a "realistic" game becuase sometimes these game makers like to get to arcade-like when making games.

Im still into ncaa2002.

If any of you come to the Gump....e-mail me if you want a good arse-whuppin.:D

Ncaa2002 March Madness was tight also. The gameplay is far better (and quicker) than NBA live 2002. They DOGGED the black colleges on this one though. Instead of all the schools, they have only 1 "all swac" squad.

I already schooled a bunch of chumps from FAMU at a MEACpage gathering. Kent was unstopable.... That game is very realistic.

I'm not a big fan of NCAA series. I'd much rather just have SWAC & MEAC rosters for Madden.

You know I wish NCAA had some kinda ratings equalizer. For instance. I wish that when you play with SWAC schools it would bump the ratings a little. This is what I mean. You know when you're playing with 2 teams in a football in the high 80's and 90's or B+ and A's. IF you play with 2 teams in the 60's, it should balance out. Since both teams are evenly matched, it should play just a little more like playing with 2 teams in the 80's. When you play a teams with 80's and everything against one with 60's in every thing it should stay normal because you're purposely playing with unevenly matched teams. But when both teams have 60's in offense, defense, and special teams, it should be ok for the teams to play as if their ratings are higher as long as they stay evenly match. Just like in high school when every class was 1 credit.

Check out our site atMadden BCF (Black College Football) .

This roster file, which is imported into Madden NFL 2002 (PC verson only, sorry) will contain the Div. 1-AA teams represented by the MEAC, SWAC, the Div. II HBCUs in the CIAA, and SIAC, as well as Tennessee State, Morris Brown and Savannah State. We also added 11 non-HBCU teams to spreard the competition around (teams like GA Southern, Delaware, McNeese St, and Montana)

We use Madden 2002 (PC version) as the base, and re-created the rosters from the 2001 season. We came up with our own ratings scale, so everything should work out as it relates to team strength.

As of today, we have all of the teams EXCEPT 7 of the teams in the SIAC (we added Tuskegee in the first version put out on March 20th). Look for the remaining SIAC teams around mid-June.

Soon after, we want to start a league....check out the site

I have no idea, but we came up with our own rating system to address the problem of our teams always having C's, D's and F's compared to the teams from dominant 1-A conferences. We felt that being rated vs. them was unfair and made the game less fun to play because of the relative rating scale.

Check it out and let us know what you think.

We want to start a league, but we need some interest from all around. A few MEAC folks have played with it (even played on-line games), but we need some SWAC representation.

Stir up the pot......

I was thinking the exact same thing.

This is the EA Sports College game right? Can roster from there be transferred to Madden?

I am not sure waht you are asking, but I will try to answer:

What we did was use Madden NFL 2002 (PC version) to create our own custom teams to use in Madden 2002. The PC version allows you to create custom teams (enter player names, use bitmaps for logos, etc.) so what we did was type in all player names and physical attributes for the rosters for all 39 BCF teams in the MEAC, SWAC, CIAA, and SIAC, and Tenn. St, Mo B, and Sav. St. WE also added 11 1-AA PWCs like GA Southern, McNeese St. , and Montana, etc. to expand the teams and hopefully increase the appeall for on-line games to other 1-AA fans. Our mission iwill always stay true to the HBCUs, which is why we cap the number o f PWCs at that level. We saved this compilation as a roster file that you can download from our website, store in the appropriate Madden NFL subfolder (which is created when you initially install Madden NFL 2002 on your PC), and load up when you start the game.

As far as we know, it only works on the PC version of Madden. EA Sports has not made a PC version of College football in almost 4 years. They are making PlayStation versions exclusively, which does have the MEAC and SWAC (i think) but does not have the Div. II teams in the SIAC, and CIAA nor Tenn. State, MoB, or Sav. St. nor any of the 1-AA PWCs.

Me and the project partners preferred PCs, plus the PC version of Madden is the only one which allows us to create custom teams and have on-line game play with other people.

Since Madden NFL is the foundation/platform for the game, we had to make some concessions:

each team is assigned a stadium, but it has to be a NFL stadium, and the stadium can't be modified (we tried to put teams in stadiums close to home or that matched their school colors).

The playbooks are from the pros (no wishbone or triple-option)

Let me know if this is not the answer you were looking for.

Well we've jumped from NCAA on PS2 to Madden on PC. I think the 2 discussions got mixed up. IF I do actually get Madden 2003, I might get some of these rosters. But the 2003 version for PS2 and GC will be on-line. THe X-Box version will not be on-line because Microsoft wants to have a version of run on thier own network instead of just EA.Net
