?????????? How and with what?
When I posted that I just knew someone was going to quote and say something. WTF you want me to do put Bruce Eugene back down as POTY. You need STFU and make your own. It never fails! :smh: :smh: I can't even post a single dayum post without someone quoting it! :smh: :smh: EVERBODY on this board is NOT for Grambling!

Actually, JC Lewis is not a bad pick for pre season POY. I can see how someone would pick him.

Brandon Landers QB--- Grambling--- SWAC Off. POY

Demetrius Carr MLB---Grambling, and Demichael Dizer DB Grambling--- SWAC Co-Def. POY

G-MAN75 I guess you don't have a problem with this opinion?

Offensive PRE-season choices: Nelson, Lewis, Timmons, Tolbert

Defensive PRE-season choices: Dizer, Knight, Carr

Isn't PRE-season player of the year SUPPOSED to be based off of a returning player who had a good season LAST year?

If so, Brandon Landers is DQ'ed.

Offense- Charlie Spiller WR- Alcorn
Defense- Michael Williams DB- Southern University

Michael is a named that wasnt mention much last year but he was one of the bright spots in that Southern Defense, he is not afraid to hit and covers really well.

uum, but what did he do?? I think if last year's DPY is returning, he will get it. The question is who will replace Bruce. My guess is that it will be Tolbert from Grambling.

Mickey Dean-Offensive Player of Year
Tyler Knight-Defensive Player of year

O-POTY = Brandon Landers --QB/Grambling State.
Big shot receiving core and veteran running back returning to the team. He should easily slide into the cockpit of a jet he's already flown before in 2004.

D-POTY = Tyler Knight --LB/MVSU.
Big time performer a year ago. Returning to a team with high expectations. I suspect that Valley will make a run for the East this year and if they do, then he should run away with the award.

:lecture:

Cocaine is one helluva drug. Landers over Nelson and JC?

:shame:

That's really what i'm not understanding. Here you have a cat in Aries Nelson that has been in the same offense for two years. (PLAYING) He still has his full complement of receivers and gets his top running back healthy this year. Why wouldn't he be the choice.

1. Henry Tolbert---GSU everybody knows he's talented, but is he gonna even get the ball enough to do something with it??? (i.e. look at Landers completion pct. when he played)

2. Brandon Landers---GSU so u people think that he is just gonna step right in and win SWAC Player of the year after sitting one year out???? Once again look at his accuracy when he did play.

I would more so go along with Spiller, McCoy, Hughes, Timmons, or Lewis (because you know he is gonna put up numbers in SU's offense because he's comfortable in it)
