Their overall sound suffered between trumpets and euphonium intonation. Likewise, I wish some influential Valley alum would hear me on this but I'd suggest they go for a different signature overall sound. They're in the hotbed of the Blues. Make your sound resemble that- there should be W.C. Handy type chords in all tags or something and the sousas should have a huge bottom. The sound they have now is an improvement but it's kind of low hanging fruit. Valley has a good campus, actually. It affords you TIME to study. They aren't just somewhere that's "came from nothing". Just my opinion.
