The chances we would hire a coach with previous APR issues are limited. But this had been a pretty closed process, so the why of anything is largely conjecture.

I remember when Earl played for FAMU. He was a beast. He and Robert Mathis (AAMU) were two players that stuck out like a sore thumb during their era(s) because they were always around the ball making plays.

Comedy is becoming more and more like Steve Spurrier in making his choices in quarterbacks. I believe Mississippi in general and jackson in particular is the right place for him.

I wish Spears the best of luck. I personally believe that if we did not have a byach ass president named HORACE JUDSON, he would still be the head coach at GSU. Spears was the guy who recruited Bruce Eugene. Funny thing is they went to finalize Bruce's recruitment and Bruce was playing basketball...:emlaugh:
