Those cats have issues V. Most JSU folks I know don't feel that way. They congratulate and move on. These two individuals (Thanks Pete Richardson) are just classless. I guess it was how they were raised (Thanks Get Ready) LOL.

The "S" continues to be MAINSTREAM and KNOWN for our performances. That is the legacy that Doc Greggs created and it now has continued under my frat Mr Jackson and now my frat Nate Haymer who both were trained by the great one. Doc is smiling right now saying "It's going to be Alright" and " If I was another band I would hate us too."

I wouldn't call Mayweather thuggish but I would call su's performance kind of bootleggish.
Don't know what that drum major was thinking by doing a backbend on stage. Hahahahaha.

Come on JR, no need for hate. There has to be a threat in order for there to be hate.

True. No band is a threat to SU. Especially now. All the real competition for the Jukebox fell off years ago. And I do mean years ago.
 



I saw the vid when it first hit the web. Congrats to SU's Human Jukebox for rep'n their school, their state, and subsequently for adding additional positive light to the SWAC.

I don't understand the reason for the hate on SU's band or that young lady, who is IN COLLEGE *smh*, doing something positive. *sigh* I'm all for competitivity but I like the positivity of stories vs the same old same old negative junk.

No true! Look at Tenn. State, Alabama State, NC A&T, BCU and JSU! They all have left SU, stagnant in the dust!

Know your place, know when you have been defeated! No threat here, only "trash talk" to mask SU's fall from the top tier!

Come on JR, you know that drum major's backbend on stage looked out of place. Who told him to do that? To be frank, he was just in the way. LOL!

It's pretty sad man. They flock to anything with the title SU on it and act like a bunch of school girls. Fear, jealousy, and inferiority complex. You don't see other folks from band programs acting like this. It's really hilarious man.

WOW times three!! This shows what folks have been saying, the immaturity of this Haymer guy. He's letting obscure fans get under his skin and he's supposed to be the professional? At the 4:02 mark, he lowered himself and said "f*ck you" to an obscure fan.
He had no control over his emotions at all.
In this video, the immature Haymer showed his true colors. Don't think I've ever seen a band director act like this.
su better do something about this cause it could get real ugly with this Haymer guy at the helm. WOW!!

I've seen and heard worse from coaches, fans, and even bandheads.
Matter of fact, come at just about any one of us on this board, on the wrong day, and you will get served.

As far as "doing something" about Dr. Haymer, no need....we good!

Excellent synopsis of the video Rob!

SU is on life support, they can't afford to hire a qualified person for the position or march a 300 piece band or SOUND like one. No band budget, begging corporate America for funds. I'm done, again!
