Marry Me

I don't see anything wrong with it.

Three women have asked me to marry them. One bought rings.

I married one of them and the other two are far from desperate.

:noidea:

I thought you said that only stupid people get married.

I don't think a woman should ask a man.

does it work? I'm sure it does, heyal men ask women all the time and those marriages end in divorces so maybe it should be switched around!! LOL

Sick to your stomach? Why?

Cause If I ain't asked her yet, it probably means that I aint ready to my stomach. However, I may really want to eventually marry her but just not at that moment, so I wouldn't want to say no but still...

Nah, you didn't hurt my feelings at all. I've never been married, LOL!! Just giving you a dose of your own bullshit. :emlaugh:

:retard:

You figured it out, huh? Man, y'all are so slow.

Okay. That makes sense.

I don't think she should. My ex asked the parents and me, bought the rings and everything. I won't buy a ring or ask. He has to find and then show me he wants to spend his life with me. But that's just me. :D

What does that prove?

To me, both parties need to be 100% committed to the marriage or it won't be successful anyway. Who asks shouldn't matter.

I think trying to make a man prove something to a woman is a meaningless exercise.

:noidea:

A woman has a place. An that place is not to do a man's job. Ain't nothing worst than a woman not knowing her place.

As a man not knowing or not doing what it takes to be a real man.

Well if the man is not knowing how to be a real man, doesn't that show a real woman that he is not for her? Wouldn't a woman with common sense and self respect for her self move on instead of chasing and hounding down a loser? Nall that would be like doing right.

basically.

I have a friend whose wife proposed to him...smh, if I hear that story one more time!! LMAO I'm like, "why did you say yes?"...he was like, "i couldn't say No...but I wasn't ready".

Got another friend went through the same thing...she didn't ask him but she basically pressured him asking him why they weren't married yet, etc. He asked her but a lot sooner than he wanted.

They are both still married...but constantly repeat those stories. LMAO

They both gone get a side piece eventually too. If a man doesn't get that last wild fling out, he will alwyas wonder shoulda, coulda until he see what it is. Just keeping it real. Seen it happen a million times.........

when a MAN finds a WIFE he finds a good thing. A man is head of the house and head of the family. if the woman asks she basically asking to be head of the house and family.

Basically. Most men need to sow their royal oats..

I think when a male makes himself available to be asked, 10 times out of 10, he'll eventually be asked. As females get older, that biological clock tix coupled w/ the very thought of spending the remaining yrs of life w/ no male/husbandry lol :emlaugh:, that estrogen causes the desperation meter to rise uncontrollably. :D lol

Since folks are keeping it all tradional, Do the parents of the bride/wife still need to foot the bill for the wedding, well not all of it, but half???

Do ppl still go by this caveman rule

Probably, IF it’s the daughter’s first marriage and
She’s young, just starting out
but for older women on their
2nd or more marriage. I’d say NOT.
Like for instance if I got married as a young dude I would
Be looking for all the help I could get.
But now as an established gentleman, I’d probably pay
For it all, unless she volunteered to help
