Many reasons to love L.A. in this series

Fcuk the Lakers!

The Celtics been my team since the 80's and I still rolled with them in the 90s...yes, the 90's mane. :) But I am sure there are bout to be a lot of folk ready to jump on the bandwagon like they did for the Saints...

^^^^

JR,
That sounds like what CL and MBigg were saying about the Suns series. Also sounds like what folks have been saying about Fisher against other PGs. Rondo is a great PG, but he is not one of those lightning quick guards that usually give Fisher trouble. Heck, Nash isn't as quick as he used to be so he didn't give him much trouble either, but Dragic did.

The Suns don't make you work both ends of the floor. Fisher didn't have anyone playing him hard and harassing him on the other end. That's why the Suns are flawed. They are better than they used to be on defense. I knew they would not beat the Lakers.

Rondo will not let Fish have an easy time of it when he guards him. So Fish will be harassed on both ends. Also look for Nate Robinson to be an issue for him or their backups. He is faster than anybody on Phoenix's team.

This will be a more physical series. Boston got some sully cats with attitudes on their team. More than the Lakers. Outside of Kobe, Artest and maybe Fish. The rest of the Lakers are soft. Maybe Shannon Brown. Boston will test their manhood in this series. The refs will be a factor as well. Depending on how they call Paul Pierce's flops......Artest may have a long series.

Should be entertaining. I am a historical Boston hater and not a Lakers fan either except when they played Boston back in the day with Magic going against Bird.

Since I am a KG fan. I like to see KG get another ring. Same for Ray Allen. Plus I would like to see Doc Rivers quiet the Boston fanbase.

A little tidbit for you Lakers fans. Yall do know the Celts have owned yall in Finals. Only Magic and Kareem got a couple of wins out of all the matchups.

I'm going with the Lakers! I've NEVER been a Celtics fan. I'm not a Kobe fan either . I've been down with the lakers since the 80's and when Shaq was there. Once he left, I said pizz on the Lakers all because of Kobe.

I don't know what you're basing that on...but looking at the stats, he owned Fisher.

17 points is not owning anywone. He didn't do all that against Fisher either. Fisher frustrated him to no end. I watched the playbacks yesterday on NBA TV and fisher bodied him pretty much and slowed him down a lot.

You have to look at how he performed in games 1 and 2 and 5 and 6. Also LA let him have those two point shots as to not give up the three which padded his stats.

The defense was to let him get his and limit his assist.

Funny thing is Dragic should have been in the game and not Nash at the end.

Favorite all-time team is New York

Current team is Hornets (Louisiana thang)...but still cheer for Knicks (hope they could get John Wall / Don't want LeBron (he needs to stay in Cleveland)

Team I like to root against the Most LA Lakers

Team that (historically) only liked because the beat the Lakers azz is Boston.

I do like this Boston organization since they hired Doc Rivers who once played for my Knicks and was a good player. He was much travelled but I always considered him a New York Knick style player.

How did they limit his assists when he avg 11.8 per game? C'mon Man! And most of his damage came against Fisher...Phil brought in those other point guards when Nash went to the bench.

I didn't even like Shaq when he was at LSU.. I was glad when he was with the Lakers so I could channel all of my hate in one direction!

LOL I mean the article is from 2008. I'm a Laker fan man.

I ain't wanna say nothing...you tried to help him and he still manage to make an @$$ out of himself....

He basically posted an article where Charles was dead wrong..... he'll be dead wrong again if he make that same bone headed prediction

Go Lakers
Go Kobe
Kobe proved he is the best player in the history of the league Saturday. Even Gentry threw his hands up and said we cant do a damn thing with this guy.

I like and respect the Celtics but man to man the Lakers are better. Rondo is over rated and Pierce is about to catch holy hell. Kobe is not LeBron...they cant defend Kobe unless they bring doubles over to force the ball out of his hands. Kobe does not have to get all the way to the basket to score, nor is his game limited to 3 point shots.

Make no mistake about it, Rondo is no Nash. Nash has a midrange jumper and can finish over 7 footers....Rondo cant. Rondo is going to be a handicap in this series. And I cant wait til they bring Nate Robinsons ball chucking ass in the game. Thats a sign that things are going wrong for Boston. Im breaking out the victory cigar as soon as he gets to the scorers table.

The worst thing that could have happened to Boston is for Nate to make a few shots. His confidence is going to hurt Boston in this series.

Honestly I think this series is going 5 but I wouldnt be surprised if it is a sweep.

You just like to pull the pin, close your eyes and throw it anywhere, huh?

Hey man it was on top the list of the search engine, usually that means it up to date.

I wasn't to concern about who was saying it just posting an article about the greatest rivalry in the NBA.

Hell if had stock in what said, I'd be at home drunk now.:lol::lol:

I love myself some Phil Jackson, but before I fell in love with him and the Bulls I loved Bird, DJ, Mchale, Parish, Ainge, Walton, Carlisle...

Celtics!!!

I hope Staples Center collapses on both their asses.

76ers fan. :D

:lol: I know how you feel... I'm a Knicks fan and it's been a while. I'm glad the Hornets are in the West, that makes it easier to have two teams... Wait, make that 3 teams. I forgot to include "anybody that's playing the Lakers."

Man do yall know I forgot that James posey is no longer on the team.
So there is no posey no Powe no PJ brown
Posey logged good minutes on Kobe and PJ was tough
And you guys think this is the same Celtic team?

Not only did Kobe take kwame and smush to the playoffs twice but he drug radmonivich vujacic and gasol to the finals. Wow ...that says a lot about a player

Hey doc...while you are bragging about your starting 5 never losing a series...the lakers with Bynum have never lost a series either. If Bynum were healthy the lakers would be working on 3 in a row

Don't forget Walton... They all logged heavy minutes in 2008.

I will say that Boston wins in six or seven.

Go C's!!!

This comes from someone who loved it when the "too old" Kareem won the finals MVP in 1985 and led the Lakers to the title in the Boston Garden against Bird, Parish, McHale and the Celtics.

I'm just hoping for a competitive thrilling series. The last time these two team played in the Finals it lacked drama. Only one game was really good where both teams played at their peak at the same time.

Eb

GR hates to tell you this bruh but according to Mikebigg, kareem was "no help" to the lakers/magic. You must have been watching something else
