Bruh, believe it or not I understand where you are coming from, but my point to you is that don't get caught up in the fire about the folks wanting a handout. Just like me, you are from the gutter. Yet you and I understand that the gutter makes up less than 10% of the inner city. Most folks who grow up in the inner city never, ever experience the bad parts of it. You get where I'm going with this? The economy is in a mess. Something has to done. If you really understand politics know that hand outs come to all in this type of bill. Large companies secretly get handout just like the ones the poor man is asking for. That's capitalism at it's best. Every party gets kick backs. All politicians are crooks some how. That's because I am not a democrat. In June of this year, I will become a registered voter 20 years. I have never voted a straight party ticket that is dem or repub. That's a problem I have with some of our black folks, when has it become "YOUR" duty to vote for someone else? I was given the right to vote for "MY" best intentions at thought... EVERYONE else has their OWN right to do the same..

I know folk, that say: "I am voting for such and such, because my people need this and that"..
WTF?!?!? Well who is voting for your best interest... If your "people" out number you and they need such a candidate, tell them to get their arses out there and vote and that should take care of THEIR interest don't you think?

And what's wrong with that until we can right this ship? What's wrong with gradually turning off course from "extreme capitalism" into a parking lot of "limited socialism" until we can streamline our process to 1)become better at accountability and 2)more efficient from an operations standpoint!

There is no way that I know that we can reform government and our current practices in the private sector until we can do the two things mentioned above. That means we have the steer off base of the path that we are currently traveling and embrace something else that can work for us and get us out of this mess. And a mess it truly is..started by both sides republican and democrats and their selfishness.

In the end, we can definitely bounce back but it will take both parties to practice some discipline and sacrifice. On one hand, dem's will have to sacrifice their gaudy spending, and the GOP will need to sacrifice this "power struggle" and the idea that they are ALWAYS RIGHT in everything! :shame:

I do agree with some of the stuff in there... But I think more emphasis should have been placed on lending, would have been real smart to start with housing and doing a fixed rate for the next say 4 years of 4% then after the 4 years back to what ever your previous fix rate you had or refinance for a lower fixed rate than previous. You know, the smart thing to do, make sure tax payers keep more of THEIR money so they can spend MORE of THEIR money...It's not rocket science bra.. And that STIMULATES the economy IMMEDIATELY!!!

Once businesses get loans, they will start spending and hiring again.

Are you serious? As a youngin' I was first introduced to playing an instrument in a summer program funded by government funds.....I think that experience opened me up to whole lot of other possibilities.....
