Hell is a state of mind, not a real place. Lake of fire? Tortured forever? Well I don't believe the God I worship would send anyone there. It doesn't exist to me.

We live in a sad world we are celebrating what should be condemned and condemning what should be celebrated. It now cute to see men prancing around like women. It's ok to have a baby mama on every block and don't take care of your kids. It wonderful the cheat on your wife and leave her for a side chick. It also ok for women do the same. But when a person save him or herself for marriage or live according to Gods way now we have a problem. The coming of Christ is near you say you are close to him you need to reevaluate that I pray God give you his holy sprit to give you the boldness to say what thus say The Lord regardless what people think about it.

Sorry brother, you don't understand the U.S. Constitution. According to Mesopotamian and Jewish law, marriage is a legal contract. We live in a republic and not a theocracy. There's a big different. This is a wedge issue that will further divide Christians and drive some away from the church. You are on the wrong side of the arc of History. I'm not worry, History teaches us that the Church will adjust and survive. I can point out many instants of that happening.

I can agree in the possibility of that happening. But I think the concept of group worshiping will fade. Believers/non-believers comparisons always strike up intense debate regardless of what religion. There were nonbelievers during the days of the Roman Imperial Cult which was the predecessor to Christianity. However, the biggest growths are believers in Christianity who don’t go to church or not involved in organized religion at all. That’s the biggest obstacle Christianity has to deal with in the coming future, not non-believers.

The god you worship is a god you made up. Your god is a little "g" and is a false fantasy created to rationalize and justify the foolishness to reject the living God. But the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob wants you to know that there is a Hell and if you go there you are forever separated from the grace of my God forever, the torment is real because My God said so. I will bank on that before I trust and atheist made up opinion that we exist because of a ape or a Big Bang.

Why should the church have to adjust to laws the contradict the word of God. You made my point when this law pass churches will be forced to go along with it. If this issue drive Christians apart it is obvious that the so called followers of Christ that support anything that is a complete abomination are not truly born again in the first place. Also this same republic have a system that give special treatment to the haves and the have nots, the black and the white the young and old under the lie that justice is for all but God shows no favoritism if you live according to his way in faith in his son you will live with him forever if not then condemnation.

Come on levarg? Think and review the changes that have occurred within the Christian Church over the past two millennials. To name a few: the Council of Nicaea (325AD), Protestant Reformation, Rennaissance, Science, Slavery, role of Women, treatment of blacks and other indigenous people, diet (Pork/catfish) and others too numerous to mention.

While the changes were occurring many Christians opposed them but eventually the Church adjusted and survived.

I can bet you money we worship the same God. I just follow a different set of rules. Why would a higher power have human emotions? Jealousy, anger etc. Especially if that being knows everything. I worship a kind God that doesn't anger easily and wouldn't dare torture his children.

You are aware that God is a jealous God right, it you put anything before him you are subject to his wrath. Look at what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah that place was obliterated due his wrath, the nation of Israel suffered many times due to them following idols and committing child sacrifices.
My sister right now God has given you grace to truly give you life to Christ not ideologies that are design to make us feel self comfort but by his word. You post a question about why we have to stand on the bible. Because there is nothing else to stand on but the word of God. America has left the word of God and I pray everyday that he have mercy on us but we are going to fall because we are boldly pushing the envelop to make unrighteousness look righteous.

You do know this country was stolen from the American Indians, who did not worship the Christian god until conversions were made by Europeans, right? So to say America has left the word of God is a mighty inaccurate statement.

O.K., you need to stop listening to Rev. Mudbone and drop the jealous god rhetoric. I know it sounds good to you but its contradicting. According to your own 15th century man-made invention (a Book), Galatians 5:20-21:

"Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

So you are pretty much saying your God is asking you to do something he is incapable of doing himself, that is not get jealous. Jealousy is a weakness, so you are saying your God is weak?

why is it that the Mississippi River is the only river that runs through the country like that? I would think that was design that way by someone..nature isn't that smart to say "oh let me carve a river out right in this location.. and have it dump into the Mexico Gulf..really nature is that smart...if so why it didn't say Ima put the Mississippi River on the left side and let in come though the left side of the country and put one on the right side?
