We all stayed at one of my girl's relatives house. I know the dude (her uncle maybe) was a Kappa. I seem to recall there being 3-4 dudes from Southern, one was in the band and there were like 3-4 girls at the house too.

Wait...the more I think about it, I think i went in 95. ...I lived in ATL for the other years 96-99 but either 94 or 95 stands out the most.
 
One of our homegirls went with us and were in the parking lot of the Underground and she bumped into Tupac. He was cool and everything. I was taking a picture of her the Tupac and some other females noticed him and SCREAMED/YELL "TUPAC TUPAC". Needless to say the moved her lil a z z out of the way and were all over PAC in about 2 seconds.

Like Makaho, I too am an Original Freak!!! One of my partners was dating this chick from Spelman and she invited us over for the weekend since none of the DC crew could make it home for Spring Break...Chuck Brown, Trouble Funk, Junkyard Boyz...Go-Go music at it's best. The later years were nothing like what was intended but things do evolve. I attended throughout the 80's - then for some damn reason I got married - that's another story though (of course SHE was not having a Freaknic negro for a Husband - should have been a sign then - needless to say she is no longer Mrs. Majiksity either :swink:)
 
Me and my girls rolled out to Freaknik one year (can't even remember which year) and had a good time. We went there with no hotel reservations or plans for a place to stay. But we found one when we met with some folks from our school. Good times....

Man, I remember Freaknic when it was just on the campuses. It was called by another name, but it didnt leave the campuses. That's when I started going.
