Wanted to holla at yall for a minute. I've been taking time out today and just reflecting on SWAC football. Nothing new to report on the GMen, you know...same ole same, kicking azz and taking name!

Anyway, I was thinking about this big game yall got this weekend. Well, quite frankly, I'm sorta concerned. I' m not totally convinced that yall gonna be able to pull this off against A&M. Not so much them, but I'm beginning to have some doubt about yall.

1. You gave up 36points to Valley. 22 of those came in the first half. That's sorta weak man! I mean, you should not give up 36points (especially not 22 in the first half) to a winless team that gives up 66 points. I could see if they scored 22 points late when the game was out of reach...but they scored 22 in the first half.
Looking kinda suspect to me.

2. You probably have some players sitting out with suspension for fighting. A&M has it's players...might even have BReed back.
These folk are full strength, you are not. What if it comes down to a close game and you need a field goal?

3. This game is in Huntsville. You had to go into overtime to win last year. I don't know if you've improved or not...A&M has played the tougher schedule. They lost to Greatness and TnState but beat TxSU (the team Cleb and Sleepa says your sked of). Your beating Howard and MSVU doesn't enhance your power rating.

4. Yall play on Sept 29th. Man that's awfully close to October...man the last time it was October, yall weren't doing so well.

Fellas this is a big game for yall. Don't you know you can't afford to lose to A&M. Don't you know the Dogpound would lit yall azzes up here on the SPORTSPAGE? Man that's a lot of pressure.
You lose to these folk and go into October stunned and AlState gonna drill ya, then comes SU fresh off their upset of Tulane! You
know they're gonna come in pumped and whip your azz, then the next week comes the guaranteed azz whipping that Grambling gonna put on yall. Then whatever's left has to play PB. Don't give it up to them like you did last year.

Mike, no need to explain what happened at Valley. We did our thing, and we didnt have to scrape by to win like Gram did this weekend with your weak offense and defense. A QB with 157 yrads passing? I hope he doesnt break any records. I know I know I know....he was playing against white people...I know.

Anyway, we dont need all of our people for 0-9. Our second or third string will do just fine. This thread really signifies your fear of JSU. Both you and I know about the ass whipping youre about to get in Jackson. You cheap-shotted us last year, and now we are looking for revenge. You need to go ask Valley what happens if you hit us with a cheap shot.

And finally, you keep downing Howard.....I have seen Howard and I have seen Grambling. Howard is better than Grambling. I know you wont believe that, but their level of talent well exceeds Gramblings. Im not speaking out of hate like you always do when addressing JSU, Im just speaking the facts.

Hey, have your way. Keep kidding yourselves if you want to. I'm merely giving my analysis. Although it appears on the smack page the things I spit could be moved to SPORTS Board. It really isn't smack...except that to those that it slaps in the face.

Why would I hate Jackson? You have been a long and respected rival. But you realize that your program is not where our is THEN OR NOW. I don't hate yall, hell yall ain't whipped enuff azz to make me hate you...man, I grew up watching Grambling kick JSU's ass. I bet there were many times yall rode home from games as youngsters, teenagers, college students with whipped azzes by GSU. Now, here yall are young adults and the same Grambling is back making your lives miserable. Tuff isht but that's life.

Anyway, I really want to see you in the SCG. I was only messing with yall about Valley being my team...yall are so sensitive that anything gets yall upset. I guess it's really not nice to ckuf with yall like that, especially considering the inferiority complex that's inherent all yall Sippian's. But I wanted to tell you that you really need to beat A&M. This game is real critical to you making it to the SCG. I look forward to winning your azz for the third consecutive time in the SCG. Then you can make a nostalgic trip home following the game. You will look in the back seat at your offspring and wonder will they too suffer years of disappointment caused by the ICON OF GREATNESS!
 
MB, your analysis is why the did not send the game film on time.

We need to find a QB for this game. I am still waiting on #3.

We will be playing GSU in the SCG.
 
You know mike I would really like to agree with you, but I just can't do it. JSU is playing 0-9....you know, John Coffey. You know, the team that would be quiet as hell right now if it wasn't for those punks from the Turd Coast.

But I do have admit that you made some good points. It is close to October and we all know that the muffins seem to fade in October. I can't speak for the rest of the teams they play, but on October 20th, they will be getting the brakes beat off of them.

But they are suffering from Bamaitis though..here are some symptoms.

1. Bragging about running up stats against sub par teams like Valley

2. trying to talk up weak scrubs like Howard or Valley in an effort to make the wins look like they really have a good team

3. Comparing a win over Valley, to a win over a ranked team.

4. Letting Valley score 36 points on you, then making excuses about the sun being in their eyes, etc.

5. fighting a scrub team like Valley, and being proud of it!

Classic signs of Bamaitis!
 
Suge, I realize it's A&M. I realize they are like the little kids that wanted to hang with the big boys, get's his chance then proves he's still a little kid. I realize that they are bamians, BUT they just might kick azz this weekend. No offense A&M, but that bothers me.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to you to kick the azz or your greatest verbal tormenter (GSU is your phyiscal tormenter, with yo 3n12 azz). But if you do that, it's gonna hurt my chances to kick their azz twice this year. If they lose to you, they will leave the smack board and quite possibly not win another game. I mean, it would be just that bad. After all the isht they talked to yall, there's no way they could come back.

I don't want that to happen. I want the Mafia around to watch THE ICON complete an undefeated season. I want them to watch us kick their azz in Jackson and again in B'ham. We are tired of whipping John Coffey's azz all over Alabama into Louisiana and then back in Alabama again. I'm tired of it!
But I'm concerned man, I just think Jackson gonna have to call Dr Heimlich (the choke doctor)!
 
While our second and third string QBs and other players are getting playing time, you guys are struggling til the end. Thats cool.

We are going to beat the pants off all of you and you know it. I know I know I know yall sced...you dont even have to say it.

66 points in 3 quarters is the lick, and we even playing horribly on offense (still got a few kinks to work out I guess). So go on minimizing our success thusfar, we'll take it.

We were on cruise control on Howard while Hampton and others scraped by. Kinda like Grambling did against the mighty white boys.

So keep it up....I guess we will just have to make a believer out of you.

It would be nice to play you in the SCG, but you wont be there, we will. There is this team to face that you cant beat, I cant think of their name right now....but uuuuh....itlll come to me soon

You think you are world beaters for beating piss poor Valley! and man you can scream all day about Howard being "better" than we think. hell theymay be "better" than i give them credit. but that doesn't make them good! i'm sure you know, there is a difference.

You and I both know Howard is a cupcake, and couln't beat the brakes off a ten speed, let alone a quality team. Andwe will bein the SCG....you can go ahead and write that with a marker. I would like to say that you won't be there...but seeing as how your competition is John Coffey and Lotta Cheating Coles....your chances seem pretty good. But it won't be the 1st time you have been beaten by the same team twice in one season. you are probaly used to it by now!
 
Can't I have my doubts? Is there some rule that says I must agree with the Mafia? I judge a team/a program upon it's legacy. JSU has the legacy of being a choker. It's not just for smack that we call yall The Buffalo Bills of BCF. Yall have a reputation of choking...despite talent. That was even with a good coach (WC Gordon), you know dayum well Hughes ain't no WC Gordon!

But just looking at things objectively, I see:

1. A team that thinks beating Howard is an accomplishment

2. A team that gave up 22 first half points to 0-2 Valley

3. A team that has to travel to A&M without suspended players
against a team the wants to beat them badly

4. A team that has to face an SU team fresh off a big win over
Tulane

5. A team that has to turn right around after two disappointing
losses and then play the BEST D1AA TEAM IN THE WORLD

6. A team that has to play a UAPB team that put 50pts in 2000.

7. A team in AlState that will still be in the hunt for the SCG at the
time of the JSU game (note they also beat JSU in 2000)


Do you see my point? SU and GSU will beat JSU this year...better talent and better coaching. A&M, UAPB, AlState were a combined 2-1 last year...I'm tired of playing A&M in the championship game.

If this is a fact, then ole Bin Ladan is the successor of pope in the Catholic church. It is truly amusing that GR keeps boasting the likes of Howard, which is at best a 3rd or 4th place SWAC West team. Giving up more than 300 yds passing and 22 first points indicates a few things. First, your 1st string defense is highly suspect; or second, your 2nd string sucks, which means your 2nd stringers provide no meaningful depth; or third, which is the most likely and proabaly fact -- both 1st and 2nd teams are sh*tty.

The Icon of Greatness will win by double digits in Buffalo. This will be one of the easiest wins of the season. J-State's talent has dropped to the likes of Howard. :(

First he backs Valley for the SWAC East.
Result: Valley loses by 30, gets 66 points run up on them and their foosball team gets pulverized.

Now he's an undercover Bulldog backer.
Result: A&M may get the clock busted on they arse!

A&M, get this Mr. Cleo wannabe off your side, if you want to make the game respectable. His bad karma will kill all of your chances for a moral victory!

C. None of you, no not one, can stand the pressure we are going to put on you this year. We aint playing. We aint going nowhere, we cant be stopped. We have the ultimate QB, the very best QB in college football. He is smart, he is big, he is fast, he is strong, he is the man. Let me tell you how I feel about SU, I wouldn't piss on SU if it was on fire. But I respect the boot and my blackness! Don't you realize that if this game is a success, a possible Tulane-GSU matchup is possible. You got to get past that limited vision and see the big picture.

SUcks ain't gonna beat Grambling. Time will show that...but you gonna get your whippings early and often. Robert Kent will never beat Grambling in his career!

The fear eminating from this thread is sooooooo thick. Look gram we all know that 66 is the most points scored in the SWAC since one team dropped 68 points on another team that will remain nameless. Just because you scrimped by Alcorn and the Whiteboys doesnt mean you will scrimp by JSU. JSU has something for that arse and it aint gonna be pretty. You know Calvin spears is gonna be TCs meal ticket to the NFL. Only Eddie Robinson has put more SWAC players in the NFL than Cal Spears.

This is sad. Rooting against JSU and we aint even in your division. There is too mutch hateration in this danceree. :(
 
Say man, your Mississippi Mentality is showing bigtime. Why so much emphasis about beating some (as you say) whiteboys? Are you referring to Portland State? Were they white? Hell, we didn't play them because they were white. Hell, we were beating "white" boys in the 70's.

Man you got some issues...Do you have some phobia about playing "them". Did yall ever play Portland State when yall were
supposed to be representing the SWAC in the playoffs? If so, that would explain some of the obsession...now wouldn't it!
