Lebron gets his title...

Especially if Ray Ray joins the Heat I have a feeling my Celtics will be letting him go soon....

Yeah I heard that this morning that the Heat will be a place he would go. Especially if Mike Miller retires due to all his injuries. I think he will and the Heat will probably give him a job within the organization. They are class like that. Ray Allen on the Heat would be dangerous. You could put him, Lebron, Battier, Bosh and Wade all on the court at the same time. WTF do you do then? LOL. No way Ray stays in Boston. They have to get younger. Plus I think KG will get resigned and they have to make room for Jeff Green to get on the court since he will be back from his heart issue. I see Ray targeting either the Heat or the Lakers. Should be interesting.

He needs to thank DavidStern
That was the most fixed finals since the last time the Heat won.
that was waaaay too obvious. Even Jordan said "hold up man, this is fixed "

Flagrant foul in DerrickFisher
Turn off tv

That what make this so disappointing........during the playoffs, I thought the officials were pretty bad, until I started watching the Finals, especially Game 2. I just sat there, and kept saying "WOW!" and shaking my head. After Game 2, I didn't watch games 3 and 4, and after Fisher got that flagrant foul last night, I too turned the channel.

OKC is an awesome team and I haven't seen such great teamwork in the NBA since the old Western teams of old (Magic, Kareem, Nixon, Rambis, Cooper, Ainge, Majerle, Barkley, Miller, KJohnson,Green, Drexler, Robinson, Petrovic,Shrempf, and all those guys). OKC doesn't need to change a thing......and it's a reminder that the better team doesn't always get the championship. They truly are a great team.

On a somewhat brighter note, at least that Cleveland owner can shut up. I would have liked to see the reaction on his face last night.

Game 2 foul disparity:
Miami:21
OKC: 22

Here is my thing on this. If you are rooting for one side in a series, especially against a team or player you don't like, then your biases will come to the surface. You'll believe every call in favor of the Heat proves the NBA or the refs favors or them.

If the NBA was fixed, this series would have gone seven games, considering the interest in the Finals was at a fever pitch. Why wouldn't Stern want to drag this thing out for a long as possible when there is no real competition in terms of sports, events or shows to conflict with the series?

Here is another statement. If you were a Bulls/Jordan, Lakers/Kobe, Magic or Celtics/Bird fan, you have no right to complain about the officials. NONE. Forever. Period. Because there is a belief from a lot of fans that those teams and players got away with a lot of stuff during their championship runs.

Which goes to show you the importantance of having a smart front office staff.

Or a front office that takes advantage of dummies. When you have teams that care more about names on the jersey and ticket sales-you will get taken advantage of.

And find as many guys who are willing to take less now, get a ring and then get overpaid by a dumb team-right Atlanta Hawks and T-Wolves.

This is the truth right here. I tell my LSU friends the same thing about Nick Saban. The man got a better job offer and he took it just like most people would. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

If that is the case just LEAVE-we don't need a show and when you lose we don't need you screaming you're rich and we are all poor. He got his azz kicked last year-be a happy loser and learn from it and stop making it all about you. That you are God's gift to basketball.

And now it looks like he finally learned that lesson.

This one was too obvious. I just wanted to see a good series. The way they took Durant out with all those bogus fouls in game 2 3 and 4 was just sad. Im not an OKC fan and I feel cheated. I watched game 3 until halftime and just threw my hands up. David Stern was not going to let this series be decided on the court. He left it up to LeBron last year and he couldnt come thru.

Truth be told, if DavidStern hadnt put his fingerprint on this playoffs, the Cetics would have beaten the Heat 4-1. But thats just how it goes. Maybe we will get a good playoff season next year.

Um....yeah ok.

Never said I didn't like the Heat. Even if I did say I did/didn't like them, it wouldn't change how terrible the officials were. Like I said, they were bad during the playoffs, and there were other teams besides OKC and the Heat playing. Bad officiating all during the playoffs, regardless of the teams......worse in the Finals.

And as long as you got bad officials, in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college, there will ALWAYS be a right to complain. Period.

Sometimes it ain't about the numbers... it's when the fouls occurred... and a lot of times the fouls/non-calls were at crucial points in the game (i.e. Lebron fouling Durant at the end of game 2 but no call YET Durant got a lot of touch fouls called on him). Or Westbrook in his 40+ point game only getting to the stripe 3 times (or Durant 9 times) despite driving to the goal most of the night.

Then there will always be people complaining... Officials are never good to a fan.

The officials were bad... calls were missed and bad calls were made. I'm not a big fan of OKC either and people could see how they were getting worked. That "they aren't superstars like Lebron or D Wade so they won't get those calls" is a cop out. These SAME NBA people wanna force KD down our throat all during the season to convince us he is a superstar so treat him like one.

These days, if people have an opinion different from the popular one, then it's hating (although a lot of people do think the refs were bad)

THANK YOU!!!!!

Even the commentators were remarking on some of the bad call/no calls from the officials during the Finals. I guess they were "hating" too.....

This is true! But Lebron (notice I didn't say leBrick) EARNED his title! Congrats!

Jump shooting teams don't get foul calls like players who go to the rim. Simple as that. When do commentators not say the officiating is bad? Watching a game in slow motion makes calling fouls easy.

Let's not forget those quick, weak technical fouls against the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Oh... he earned it with his play from Game 6 against Boston to the end... no doubt about it. I'm glad he got it but he was assisted

And now I want to see him lose simply because of the ESPN usual overkill... lol

When Gavitt (sp) NBA Official provided answers to the way they make calls, I understood why certain things are called. I have a greater repect for the game now that I can follow what should be called and what is not called.

Congrats Heat fans.

Glad leBron got his ring but he will always be a str8 a-hole to thousands of kids and parents in Jackson, Mississippi. People around here hate that dude worse than Cleveland fans the way his stuck up azz acted and it has nothing to do with basketball.

LeBron wearing this shirt:

Is like Fox News saying they are fair and balanced.
If you have to say it, you must know its a damn lie

I actually agree with this

And when did this lebron incident in Jackson occur? He always has given me that arrogant vibe to me... I don't fall for the ESPN machine...

Please explain.lol

You all are a bunch of haters and J83 I know about that incident. That is still no reason to hate the king. Other athletes have done worst.

Dang the game has been over since last Thursday, Hurricane Debbie is giving Florida hell, Essence Fest is next week, the CHAMPIONSHIP parade was yesterday and these people still HATING.

from people who where there... that entire incident was FALSE.... ask Noise Talka... he was there and said he personally seen him stay and sign autographs for over 2 hours.... word is Rob Jay was upset because Lebron wouldnt do an interview with him and he started spreaded false rumors.
