Lebron gets his title...

No, I meant those 3 separately. As in watching what team Deron Williams and Dwight Howard play for, and what moves teams like the Lakers might make.

Well if you want Howard, you got to trade for him. I think he remains in the East. Williams who knows. He may stay with the Nets if they can trade for Howard. But even then. There is no team in the West except the Lakers that these guys could help get past the Thunder. Maybe Dallas. But even they have guys talking about leaving. You just have to give up too much to get Howard. DWilliams is going to cost you a big salary. Don't know what the Clippers going to do. But they overpaid for Deandre Jordan. Should have let him go to Golden State. Now they are stuck with an expensive center with no game. Lol.

The thunder don't need to do anything. They are in a good spot. They are in the same spot Miami was in last year. They got in the big spot and didn't win it the first time. For them its just a process. They need to keep all the players they have. The bearded guy will play better if they get back next year. He was one if the factors that helped them lose. Plus those horrible calls took them out of rhythm. No need to panic. They are right there.

Don't dismiss the Mavericks so easily, they have a lot of cap space and the only guys leaving are lam lam & Jet Terry which I hate to see J.T. go but they will be well under the cap. D. Will is going to Dallas and Cuban will still have room to make a run at 1 additional big name guy. Time will tell who's out there. Someone is going to need to be moved and Cuban is sitting back waiting with a bunch O damn cap room.

Agree.

Also I have lost respect for the NBA game somewhat. This series I have seen SWAC games called better than this NBA series. The flagrant call on Derek Fisher was the most incompetent piece of officiating. Fish held his position with his arms up and he didn't bring them down when Lebron tried to run him over.It was an offensive foul,it should have went it the other way . Although it would have not mattered, but still leave some dignity in the game. Also this 2-3-1-1 home court sequence is bullshit too. I mean the teams both earn their way to the NBA finals and one team should not have the advantage of homecourt. It should be 2-2-2- and the 7th game for home court advantage should be determined on who ever win the first game.

So is the Salary Cap! In two years Durant & Westbrook will be all they have. All the starters and Hardin are all on their first contract with 1 or 2 years left excluding Westbrook .

That's why you draft well. The same thing will happen to every NBA team. So they will be just fine. They will probably elect to let Perkins contract go in a few years. Resign Ibaka. Depending on what their cap numbers look like they will either trade Harden or have enough to resign him. You have to remember these contracts are slotted by years in the NBA. So ain't like all these guys going to make 20 million a piece like some of the older teams. Miami going to have the same problem. Just like the Lakers are now. The Clippers will be in the same boat, so will the Knicks. So I would take Durant and Westbrook Plus whomever the 3 rd guy will be along with the role players over what other teams going to have in 3 years. As long as they got a good front office they will be fine.

I agree. I am sure they tweak some of the bench players. But they don't need to do anything major. Will be interesting to see who they get late in the first round of a pretty deep draft. Not to mention what veteran comes in for the minimum just to hop on the bandwagon and come off the bench seeking a ring.

Eggzactly!! Players get traded and cut all the time. Where is the outcry then? Lebron had the leverage, Miami had the better offer, and he took it. If I get a a better job offer I'm taking it. Why can't Lebron do the same?

This is the truth right here. I tell my LSU friends the same thing about Nick Saban. The man got a better job offer and he took it just like most people would. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Not agreeing with the criticisim over the "Decision" and the Pep Rally! Pro Sports is all about Entertainment and Hype during the off season. LeBron and those guys were Marketing their team...plain and simple. Really not understanding how folks take exception to that...it's called Marketing! Sheesh!

As for LeBron... he had a great Finals (actually the entire playoffs) but the difference in this year and last (at least one difference) is his supporting cast knocked down shots!

Thank you!!! I don't see people upset about the hyping of boxers and all the entertainment they do. Look at how Mayweather sells his fights.

Don't you think a championship team can be built around those two?????

Exactly. Plus this new CBA and salary cap is going to affect everybody. Not just the Thunder or Heat. Every team will have decisions to make on who stays or who goes to keep under the cap. At least the Thunder guys are already there and do not have to worry about going out to get other stars. I really think we will see a rematch next year in the Finals barring injuries. Heck this could be the beginning of a good NBA Finals rivalry. I bet the ratings for this series was great.

Especially if Ray Ray joins the Heat I have a feeling my Celtics will be letting him go soon....
