Just because we agree to disagree at times, doesn't mean we don't want our school to be successful. We may go about it in different ways because we're different personalities, but deep down in our heart, WE ALL BLEED BLUE AND WHITE and all want what's best for JSU.

When JSU begins to dominate the SWAC once again, yall gone wish we were in the Sunbelt Conference.
Basketball and Baseball are just the rumblings of a new beginning for JSU football.
Deep, deep down inside of yall's heart, yall know that JSU football is BACK and on the prowl once again.

Re: JSU finds their replacement for Trey Johnson

Is this your opinion or did you hear this officially out of Coach Braddy's mouth. How are you speaking behalf of the school like that. Yeah some of the leadership in the administrative offices is bad and the direction is not on track but to speak for the university is out right stupid. Yes the SWAC as a whole need improvement but to go out and tell other people in another conference about what is going on in house is just out right messy.

Some times I believe my boy at night dreams about these senarios.

JSU announces signing of two more players to men's basketball team

The Jackson State men's basketball team announced the signing of two more players on Monday - Opelika (Ala.) High School's Brandon Baker and Jerome Davis.

Baker, a 7-foot center, averaged 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5.6 blocked shots per game for Opelika, which finished 28-2 and made it to the 6A South Regional in Alabama's largest basketball classification.

Davis, a 6-foot guard, averaged 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists per game. He also shot 46 percent from 3-point range.

"Both of these guys are huge additions to this program," JSU coach Tevester Anderson said. "Now we've got the kind of depth we'll need to try to make another run in the postseason."

Jackson State has signed six players so far in the late signing period, including Clarion-Ledger All-State selections Rod Melvin and Jenirro Bush.

Re: JSU announces signing of two more players to men's basketball team

man, I was hoping baker would end up at bama state and not jsu. davis started the year off great but cooled off as the season progressed. what is good for jsu is good for the swac though. if jsu becomes a monster the rest of the swac will have to catch up or get left behind. hopefully this is the begining of a arms race in hoops that will result in the swac getting much higher seeds because of better talent and better coaching.

Good Job J-State:tup:

Re: JSU announces signing of two more players to men's basketball team

Congrats JSU. These are excellent signees. Tevester ain't playing and is raising the bar for other SWAC programs. Baker is not ready but has tremendous upside. He's an athletic 7 footer. Davis can really play. Their high school coach (Pugh) was named the head coach at Huntington College today.
