No hate here...this is an option if the Dynamo build thier stadium.

Yep -- no hate there at all. A Dynamo/TxSo partnership would be great for both sides. It'd give the field some more dates through TxSo football, give TxSo an attractive venue with about 20k to 23k able to watch and a professional press box (which would not be a bad place to pass out Frenchy's to the media)...

Whateva, we need our own shat, very close to or on Campus nothing more than a short walk. The dynamo most likely will not want to play in 3rd ward so this should be a nonoption. Don't fall for that ropadope!!! and end up with a facility 30 plus miles away from campus. That would be the same as not having one when it come to student participation. Also, how the payouts gone work? Everything going to be split down the middle, I doubt they will want to do that. TSU will end up screwed just like with UofH. You have to watch Mr. chalie he slick. One more thing, who gets priority scheduling, the seasons do overlap.

30 miles away? Downtown does not seem like 30 miles away as I think the Dynamo will have a downtown facility, possibly right across the way from the Convention Center, Toyota Center, etc.

Dynamo would have precedent in scheduling as they'll front the $$$ for the stadium. TxSo would not have that many conflicts as Labor Day Classic would still be at Reliant. Your looking at four dates at most where the Tigers would need in to the stadium, possibly less -- pending on how TxSo utilizes the two additional OOC games.

The staduim will be built across 59 from Minute Maid Park. So it's not on campus but it's close and will be a good thing until we are ready to redo the capmus stadium. From what I'm told this will only be used by TSU and the Dynamo.

And boxing...

If Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions has a stake in the Dynamo as has been discussed, I would not be surprised to see boxing at the new facility, even if it is an outdoor venue...
