Blu I wonder if there are any people on the page who's parents are Hispanic who found this offensive. Also I wonder how many jobs fired African Americans during the million man march and if you thought it was wrong for them to be fired.

You don't realize that these Hispanic people have these rights because of what MLK did in the 60s. That's the reason why they were singing we shall overcome....I refuse to be racist because rasicm is something I fight on a daily basis.

I am black and one of the highest paid people in my company. The President of my company is an African American female and the only people who have not given her any problems are the Hispanics and myslef; everybody else,m white, black, and Asian have pulled her chord to see what they can get over on. One of the Hispanics is the Director of Human Capital, the other is Director of Enterprise Systems Management. My President gave both of them off today WITH PAY because she believes in people exposing wrongs, and fighting rasicm. Guess what, neither took the day off, they are here working because the most effective way to fight rasicm is to show the world they you can do a job RIGHT.

FYI...both of their parents came to the U.S. illegal. FYI...both sets of parents are now citizens....FYI....the Human Capital Director is a 24 year veteran of the Navy, the Enterpise Systems Management Director spent 6 years in the Air Force as a Harrier pilot.....they get much respect from me.

If I was a business owner, I WOULD FIRE ANYONE THAT WALKED OFF THE JOB AND COST ME MONEY.:xeye:

If I walk off my STATE JOB right now, I WOULD BE FIRED.:look:

How the he!! you gonna tell me, a person that has had family here for generations, (I know how we got here, so don't start) , that I need to be LEGAL in every way, but a person that "skip's" his happy arse across the border can work, protest, walk of jobs, without fear of being fired or arrested even without id.

He!!, I can't even cash my paycheck without ID.
How the heck is you gonna tell me others don't simply because they are from MEXICO.:xeye:

I dont think we are being racist............more like keeping it real. At my job, I know we have illegals working on site with outside vendors. Hell, awhile back there was some big green card raid and every jobsite on campus was died for that day.

So, why in the hell should we cater to them? Hell, we didnt come here by choice and look where we are now...........
 
Stagga your post is not racist because you clearly defined the individuals you are referring to...Blu's was because it was an across the board response. I believe in closed borders for ALL...not some...ALL.

I believe if an immigrant comes to the U.S. there should be constant tracking of them and they should be required to have a sponsor. If the person jumps town the sponsor should be placed on lock until the person is found.

I know it sounds like the good suffering for the bad, but that's the way it has to be. Also no more 2 year work or school visas. If you come here you must immediatlely apply for citizenship. You should be placed in an environment to learn about basic history about America. Once you are cleared you can become a citizen, and when you work...be taxed. That's what being an American is all about. FICA and all.

I got paid time off.......................GOT HUNDREDS OF HOURS TO USE.

Question is, WOULD YOUR BOSS LET HIS ENTIRE WORK FORCE HAVE PAID TIME OFF ON THE SAME FREAKING DAY.....................he!! no.:xeye:

But we want....why? I can hire Julio to cut my yard for $15 instead of Pookie for $20.

I can get a crew of ten to do work all day for 20 each compare to Pookie and the others who want $50 and lunch.

Down here it's all about the economics.....if you want to stop illegals from coming in CLOSE THE DAMN DOOR!!!!

I've cashed checks without ID... you know they go to places that take a good percentage of the check for a fee.

I don't care.....................If a MEXICAN BOSS or any other BOSS want's to shut his door's on his own........................that's one thing.:xeye:

Besides....................If these bosses would take 2 seconds and ask for a GREEN CARD, they would not have anything to worry about. Who's fault is it they go out and bring in UNDOCUMENTED workers by CHOICE................not mine.:look:

Paying cash under the table is something WE WOULD ALL LIKE.
My arse would go to jail if I got this treatment, keeping all my money and NOT PAYING TAXES ON IT.:bump:
