We all know this rivalry is a really big deal, but in all my years of following the BoomBox Classic, I never seen the mayors get involved.

I thought this was great. Does Prairie View, Texas has a mayor? Maybe we get this type of activity going for the Labor Day Classic lol (our biggest home-to-home rivalry) LOL

And just FYI, Jackson's mayor is a Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall Law School alum.

I invited my ex-girlfriend best friend back in 2010 and she was in shock at the atmosphere. I think she was an Auburn graduate...... These 2 schools showcase some of the best HBCU's have to offer surrounding the football programs.
