I actually thought all the boos on both sides was really bad... We have to do better showing one another respect. The whole Booing thing isn't funny anymore.
One of the biggest lessons ive learned amongst "us", is that we do not respect and/or value one another. That is within the work world, college/university, fraternity/sorority, (internal body within the fraternity) and many more. I'm not including the funny chants or anything with schools and orgs. But the booing and personal relationships and dealings. We truly harm one another as well.

As a drum major for Jackson State University’s elite marching band, Sonic Boom of the South, senior Jonathan Johnson is a leader in the eyes of his bandmates. But it was no easy job earning the prestigious position. After failing to make the squad his freshman year, Johnson proved that through hard work and perseverance, he could accomplish anything.

Has anyone addressed the fact that the Sonic Boom still has different color instruments but yet claim to be the summa cum laude of bands? None of the other really good college bands have that issue.

I've always loved "Da Boom" since I was a boy so this is me coming from a place of love. I really think they should have the mainstream success I'm seeing with the Human Jukebox. That starts with brand new same color instruments. They have everything else to have mainstream success .... even Rickey Smiley was on his popular radio show saying how JSU have the best drum majors period ... and he's an Alabama State alum.
