"Leader of Kings"
I'm I the only one who realize this or is it that most are so ticked off with the nine game mandate that the fact the Jackson state has had three years to comply with the new rule but has found a way year after year to not adhere to the conference mandate completely go over everyone's head that they are violating conference rules?

When Prairie View ignored the SWAC office mandate not bring their band at a certain number of games they had a contract in place but were still fine and rightfully so because the point of a fine to punish.

Yet the SWAC office has let Jackson state get away with not playing a complete SWAC schedule the last three years. Whether or not Culbertson made a snafu in the scheduling of TSU (which i doubt) or not is irrelevant that's his fault, they still should be fine.

Every school in the conference has gone through a lot of pain staking time and effort to meet this mandate so I'd like to know from the SWAC office why is Jackson state exempt and not fine?

Don't try to spin it as hate you know better so lets talk like adults about a simple concept. Right being right and wrong being wrong.

Yes we will be "fine"....LOL

Bluedog,

The SWAC cannot fine us because at the root of this issue is TxSo's contractual obligation. I am fully aware that you support the 9-game mandate but this is not JSU's fault. You are just mad because we took the Hampton game because of the mandate. The mandate needs to be stopped immediately and we need to continue to e-mail Vowels and our university administrations to get this resolved.

He dont understand TP. We did not back out of the deal with TxSo. We just had no place to put them. What? At the beginning of the schedule with them playing PV? At the end after the Alcorn game? You make the choice. Blue, just because you all are in the buck doesnt mean that everyone has to join you. I think you need to be focused on Allen and TX Co. because that is more serious to your fans than us playing Hampton...............on Sept. 4.........................in Orlando.......................in a classic.

NO I understand fully, I also understand that culberson or whatever his name is isn't a rookie at scheduling and that he playing the SWAC office for the fools that some of you feel they are and this seems to support that theory.

TP leave your stupid comments for the smack board this is a serious topic.

What stupid comment did I make. You support the mandate and I don't know why but you seem to get upset with those of us to think that Vowels needs to be fired for allowing this to happen!!! Culberson should have been hired as the Commishioner.

Like I said, culberson isn't a rookie at this and you'd had to be a complete idiot to think that he didn't know that TSU had a game schedule already at the very least have enough common sense to make a call to find out.

As a matter of fact they both need to be fine because they probably are working this con hand in hand. You want us to believe that a veteran AD is soooooo stupid that all of a sudden he forgets the ins and outs of conference scheduling. Please!!

This is your reason behind this stupid topic!! So admit that you are a silly punk who is upset that people are calling SU, Kerr and Petey cowards. Just admit it...That's the first step. Why not fine TxSo??? Why is only JSU in the headline of this thread???

Well most people feel that they should be applauded...the JSU community does anyway!!

Culberson is slick. Don't forget how he was able to conduct a "farce" of a search for a football coach and hook up his buddy with a new job, although that buddy had a 1-9 lifetime record.

Food for thought

carry on

Just as everybody has something to say about SU's schedule as if it has anything to do with winning the SWAC ,if SU would have adverted following the conference mandate for three years and not fine everybody on this board would be screaming that SU is getting favortism as some of you already do and you know it.

Right is right and wrong is wrong, again didn't PV get fine for not following the SWAC office mandate? And everyone on this board agreed that they should have, even some PV'ers. So what makes Jackson State or TSU exempt?

:smh: I knew it wouldnt take long for the "adversary" to show up amongst the "sons of God".

Job 1:6

Blue, had JSU just gone against the conference wishes and scheduled a team without having the SWAC's blessing, this topic would make sense. The fact is that we did schedule TxSO.

Also, you are incorrect in saying that we avoided the mandate for three years. This is the FIRST year of the mandate.

It's called Moderator instigating. You know he likes to carry on with posts on the Sports Board!!!

bluedog, I understand where you are coming from but from the beginning you blasted JSU NOT JSU and TxSo...So your comments did come off as "hate".

However... I am sure that the great people in the Swac office will looked into this matter and will handle it as THEY see fit.

Blue, but whose really complaining about your scheduling? We joke and pick at your weak scheduling, but who really complain? We didnt say that you all need to penalized for scheduling (2) D2 teams. We didnt say that you all didnt deserve to be in the championship. Moreover, we just wanted you all to have a "competitive" schedule like most of the SWAC teams. Your team deserves it, your school deserves it, and most of all your fans deserves it.

Tell us why you support the mandate. I think we need to get a understanding??
