Hey hassan,

Time to get to work. Since SUcks wont play you. It looks like the G-Men will have to step up to the plate in football. (note the baseball reference). Don't worry, we will try to make this experience as painless as humanely possible for you MildCats.

GRAMBLING - Grambling State will not play in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 18.

The D.C. game, sponsored by the Prince George's County Black Chamber of Commerce, was to pit Grambling State and Howard University. But the organizers missed two deadlines to return the game contract to GSU, said athletics director Al Dennis.

"Many Gramblinites and fans were looking forward to the GSU Tigers and the World Famed Marching Band coming to the East Coast," said Alicia Williams, president of the Washington, D.C., chapter of Grambling State alumni association. "We have not had a game here for some time. We hope in the near future, a game will materialize."

The date could be filled as early as this week with a game in Cincinnati against popular Bethune-Cookman College.

Grambling State hasn't faced BCC since 1988, but this isn't the only time there have been long gaps between meetings. GSU didn't play Bethune-Cookman between 1957 and '84. BCC won the first meeting, but lost the other eight games.

"I don't want to confirm anything until all the paperwork is completed," said Al Dennis III, athletics director at Grambling State.......

Two schools with no fans....

It will be a good measuring stick for how strong this Cincy Classic is. The question that will be answered is has the Ohio community embraced it.

Tigerpride,

JSU is about to join us.

Bell is about to add new meaning to the term... "EXIT STRATEGY".

Never...no matter how upset JSU fans are with Bell, we love JSU too much to not support her. We are preparing to take over Orlando. This is going to be a great show of support by the JSU faithful. Then by mid-season we will come to Ruston to improve your home attendance numbers.

Where is MH with Buffalo's woeful attendance numbers? TP, your worries/concerns should be concentrated on Valley.

I have not forgotten about the SP's all time lowest moment when you Bills were hoping for a Valley win?

uuuh hoping for Valley to beat AlaState is not so far fetched. They did lose to Valley the NEXT year. The all time low at Gram was all caused by being destroyed by JSU. Eddie got embarrassed his last two years and Doug got drug his first two.

There is something that bothers me though. ...why did ya'll let little sorry Hampton whoop ya'll out of a game that you helped to create in New York.. Talk about some punks!!!

Doug was in Grambling for Six years as the coach. Is the great JSUe on a 4 year losing streak?

And Dude, For the record, their isn't a metropolitan city in the USA that Grambling don't fill the stand. All of our classics are sell outs. Gram ain't new to classics, we use to it... Ask SU and PV, they are both getting paid off what our fame started.....

If the New York classic game is to be revived, I promise it will be Grambling called first... And not _____????? You fill in the blank....

Not 3,000, Not 300, Not 30, but 3!!!!!!!
:smh::smh:
UGH!!!!!!!!!

The sadness of that one will live on forever. :(

Mighty Hornet, I don't remember that but I think you are referring to 2000 when most of our games were rained out. Rain does make a difference in BCF. Our Grambling game went from 26K to 5K because of the rain. At least we have 26K potential. You have only about 6K potential aside from Homecoming.

But you have been here long enough to know what smack rule number one is.

I love Grambling's band, but they are in for a woodshed type arse whoopin in Cincy. BCC was on fire last year.

Oh, and the football game should be pretty good too. :)

Not used to one's peers lauding the Human Barbarians for musical appeal -- huh?

What was the take home message (to the female bandsman) during that nationally televised bar room fight a few years ago -- "She had it coming" or something to this effect.

GSUperTiger,

I think it was more in the classic SUcks lingo of... " IF THE HOE DIDN'T WANT TO GET HIT, SHE SHOUDA RUN".

I don't think bandfan ever forgave them, but I'll let the PV folks speak for themselves on that.

bluedog ... please tell doc to let MAZE and Frankie Beverly go. 20 years of the same dam song is a bit much. LOL

As far as we know, she could have been a prison guard. We see how tough they are. Ask an Iraqi detainee.

The SUperior NEEDS a quality opponet...not a(as DEAN PETE would call it) 3rd place confrence team. If we play the mild cats again, we'll beat that arse(AGAIN)so bad, they'll fire bcc's athletic director.
