Hell if you base who got a ring earlier then Magic is better than both of them. Not only did he get his first ring his rookie year after winning it all at Mich St........Magic also became the Finals MVP as a rookie dropping 42 points on my beloved Sixers with no Kareem on the floor. Kobe or Mike aint never do that. So does that make Magic greater?

Actually I know some who think Magic is the GOAT. As a matter of fact. Magic got 5 rings quicker than Kobe got his 4. Maybe Kareem is better. He took an old arse Oscar Robertson and a not so old Bobby Dandridge to a NBA championship when he first got to Milwaukee out of UCLA. Kareem has 6 rings. Is he better than Kobe? He is the all time leading scorer in NBA history as well. Looks like his record will be safe for a while.

Zeke and MJ had to breathe life in franchises who never won anything. Kobe went to the Lakers man.........even Magic lucked out and went to a team with Kareem already there. Then they turn around and get James Worthy a few years later.........another way the NBA let L.A. make trades with the have nots and get over. Aint no way they should have been able to draft JW right out of UNC and winning the NC. When only 3 years earlier they drafted Magic. Yall always talk about the bias towards MJ. It shole is strange that the two most storied franchises got Bird and Magic. LOL. Then both turned around and got McHale and Worthy...... That is why MJ is better.......he had to not only change the culture of losing in Chicago. He won at 28 after being taught lessons by Bird and the Celtics. Then Zeke and the Pistons and he earned his first by being the lead man on his team. Not the second option.
And BTW, why should MJ give a isht. He knows what his peers and the world thinks of him. That is like Ali being worried about Tyson when he was young and winning. We all knew that no matter what Mike T did........folks would always think of Ali as the GOAT. Even though some old heads still think Joe Louis was better. No different than some think Jim Brown is the GOAT in football. It is what it is. Jordan is an ICONIC figure in our history. Not just basketball. Part of it has to do with his personality just like it was for Ali. They transcend the sports they were in. Tiger Woods is doing that now. Kobe just don't have what them dudes have. Dude is a helluva basketball player and athlete. He deserves all the accolades he is getting and I agree that he is the best basketball player in the world right now. Nothing is wrong with that.
