No, not at all. ESPN's recent acquisition of NFL Network created a situation where you had an overlap of talent to do certain jobs.
It's unfortunate, but it happens all the time. Plus ESPN is also getting rid of NFL Network folks as well, not just the ESPN people.
 



Is it me or is Ryan Clark taking his dismissal from ESPN too hard? I think twelve years is a good run and leaves you with plenty to build off of.

I believe if you're employed and good at what you do, if and when your employer lets you go it's their lost not yours.

Especially if employed, never let the work place become part of your identity. Any job offered and accepted is one that can be taken away.

When you begin to believe you are special this kind of stuff can happen. sas may become suicidal if it happens to him.

I know Clark has seen people come and go during his time there but he missed the axe before.

I think one thing that burns his cookies is how he was fired in the middle of a show.
