Do you know folks who don't like drinking water? Are you one of those people? I hear folks always say they don't like the taste of water? Never realized it was suppose to have a taste like pops or something.

I find it hard to drink sometimes, but after working in the yard, I do not care what it taste like. Just as long as it cools me down, I am good.

I do know people who flavor their water to change the taste of it, but I can't imagine not liking water. Since January 1st, I've been drinking only water. No sodas, coffee, tea, sports drinks, energy drinks, juice, alcohol, milk ... nothing. Just water. My goal is to only drink water for the entire year and it's been a surprisingly easy change so far.

Now, I'm getting ready to attack my diet. Reading The China Study now .... :read:

:)

I used to be like that. I had to force myself to drink water and the only way I could it was to buy the bottle water and keep it at my desk. But if I have the option of going to a faucet and filling up a cup or water fountain, vs. buying a pop...I'm going with the pop. LOL

So, now that I drink water on the regular and more often...I still drink bottle water. That way I can keep track of how much I am drinking.

If all you know is sugar (pop, juice, etc.) then you won't see the need for water or like it.

Good deal. Man I find it hard to give up soda's. I've tried and tried again and again. I don't know of anyone that doesn't like water.

I'll drink cold water all day long. As for sodas, I went kicking and screaming. Now if I drink more than 2 sodas in a day, my back and sides start to hurt.

I have got to the point now that I have to actually think about the last time I bought a soda. I mainly buy Gatorade, juice, or make tea at home. I'll have a soda every now and then or if I'm at a football game.

Gave up soda for over 2 years. I try to drink close to a gallon of room temperature water a day. Now I may drink some tea from time to time such as Oolong to kick off my metabolism and white tea for a detox...

 Man I drink at least one soda a day. I prefer Mountain Dew. The thing that I notice when I drink them I feel drained at the end of the day. I just had one this morning, but I've already drank three bottles of water and will drink many more bottles of water before the day ends

Good deal.

I thought about adding tea back after this year for the reasons you stated.

I love water. Drink it all day long. I have never been a fan of soda's. Now I like fruit juice, but not to much of that. Water keeps your skin nice looking and your body purified.

I primarily drink mineral water at the house. I never buy soda anymore unless I am mixing with liqour but I went on a no-chaser movement earlier this year. Don't drink hard liqour as much but when I do, I don't use a chaser.

I love water though. Soda's are fattening.

Don't know of anyone who doesn't. I drink a little less than a gallon a day.

I knew a bunch of women, that say they don't drink water, "didn't like the taste of it". Until their doctors told them to lay of the sodas. Now they drink it, but you'd think they were taking cough syrup the way they frown up at it.
Me on the other hand I start my day off with water, drink it throughout the day, and end my day with it. I do sodas once in a while, and even then, I don't finish a whole bottle in one day.

I never hated the taste of water, but I didn't used to drink a lot of water at all. I now make myself drink water daily, mainly for health reasons. Drinking noting but sodas or other stuff all day puts extra weight on you. It also can lead to other issues (kidney problems, diabetes, etc.). I still drink soda, but I am at a point where I am conscious of how much of it I drink compared to water or other beverages.

What really helped me out is that fact that we stopped buying soda for the house. The only drinks in the refrigerator are bottled water, juice, tea, and milk. I've found that is it easier not to drink soda when it is not around. Work is a different story since soda and coffee are what are available here. You usually have to bring in your own water or other beverages.

Thought about buying a Brita and bringing it to the office?

My doctor said a soda a day adds 10 lbs a year to your body. However, I too can't resist a sunkist or a grapico soft drink. I too keep a bottle of water with me to get the water needed to stay hydrated.

I have been pretty much soda free for three years. I will drink the hell out of orange juice from time to time. Honestly, I look at my diet now and my diet 5 years ago and it is drastically different. I haven't fried anything in my house in 2 years. I rarely eat anything red (grill a steak every now and then), I don't buy white rice or pasta and I tried to avoid using any type of salt when seasoning.

I've added kale into my diet since the beginning of the year. I even put some in my protein shakes.

I love water! Don't do sodas too often; so rare that sodas are kinda nasty to me. But sweet tea is my weakness!
