What about 'em? Still as wrong, considering their various degrees of this issue.
Tiger...the least of the cuss'rs. Not as many kids watching as KG, plus still wrong.
John Mac...a tennis player. Not as much light as KG is flashing when it comes to kids watching. Not even if you consider the era in which he played. Wrong, anyway.
Knight...ain't no kids trying to use him as a role model or gravitate to him. In the day, they gravitated to the program he was heading (Indiana), mixed in with his disciplinary actions. By the time he left..."some" kids gravitated towards his name when he went to TTech. But, most, along with their parents, shyed away.
Come on, JR. When you're a kid and watching basketball...things like earings, clothes and everything else off-the-court come WAY after watching the game and manorisms of the one you idolize on-the-court. Back in the day...you only listened to Jordan's postgame interviews AFTER he balled. Only then you noticed that iceburg on his ear and/or how he dressed.
When I was a kid...I didn't just watch the game from a birds-eye view and/or face value. I watched the details. Kids are BIG-time followers now days...cuz, it's more to follow. And, even more importantly now-days, they have no one to tell them what's right and wrong about each individual. And, that includes what flies out of the mouth of a Superstar after EVERY one of his buckets.
Like I stated...
