Cornell West: "Obama has a certain fear of free black men"

Come on 83.. Now yuo starting to sound like the folk that say.. Obama had nothing to do with capturing Bin Laden...lol

Clinton was took office in 1992. The net boom was well on its way with start up companies and took off right before 1993 when the money started flowing. When that much money is generated by the private sector, the economy will take off on its own. People making money by working. People on the inside becomming instant millionares, LITERALLY OVERNIGHT. The super rich becomming even richer, pouring more money into more dot.coms starting the gravey train all over again.

Clinton may have signed ledgislation to make it easier for net companies to prosper but tell me what part of the dot.com boom and the offshoot businesses and employment did CLINTON CREATE. Your comparison about Obama had nothing to do with getting OSAMA is not even close to this.

Pops, we should follow Nancy Pelosi's lead in that we wouldn’t find out what was in the 2,000 page health care bill until it was passed.

Anyone can go to house.gov and read a bill on Their own. They have to wait 3 days before voting on any legislation that has been drafted.

WTF? If 2000 pages can be written in 2 days, it can surely be read in that amount of time. And make no mistake about it, that particular bill was on the table for weeks.

Don't you know that legislators don't even read every bill before voting on them? What makes you think these folks are going to read a 2,000 page health care bill in three days with all the other stuff they have to do?

You seriously think 2000 pages was written by ONE person in 2 days?!?!?!

It's so many damn different agendas in them 2000 page.. it's a shame...

It was NOT available to read for weeks before it was voted on...now you making stuff up..That was the big fuss the whole time.. "transparency"

Congressmen don't write bills either. Their aides do both for them and report back. If you think they are completely clueless on the content of those bills something is wrong with you. Stop believing the rhetoric about what they know and don't know.

My jaw dropped when I first heard this snippet from Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.). Speaking at a National Press Club luncheon last week, Conyers ridiculed the idea that lawmakers should read bills before they vote on them. This is especially true, he suggested, when it comes to lengthy bills, such as the health-care reform measures now being contemplated on Capitol Hill. “I love these members that get up and say, 'Read the bill,'" Conyers said. "What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?”

His comment was in response to a request to read the bill OUT LOUD ON THE FLOOR. Like I said, stop believing the rhetoric.

So you seriously believe that the rich repubs, indepen, libs and dems ain't all getting paid off of this bill? :retard:
