Re: Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Tells Girlfriend: Don’t Bring Black People To My G

What you just stated in the overall scheme of things is saying that Magic, Doc, Paul and others were sellouts since they KNEW the kind of racist this man was, they still chose to play for him.

Re: Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Tells Girlfriend: Don’t Bring Black People To My G

Exactly. Magic just thought Sterling liked him is all. Now he knows he don't. LOL. It is like anything, folks knew what he was. But he has not gotten outed with his on words for everyone to see. So all the blacks who had interaction with him, have to distance themselves from him by saying we didn't know he was this racist. LOL.

I also think this is a set up to get the Clippers from Sterling. Has not been any secret that Magic and others in L.A. desire to buy them from Sterling. Now it may just happen.

NBA Enabled LA Clippers’ Owner And Now Must Oust Him

The union that represents National Basketball Association players has demanded that Los Angeles Clippers’ owner Donald Sterling receive the “maximum” penalty for racist comments recently attributed to him, starting with a suspension for the remainder of the playoffs.

“The players are not going to sit on the sidelines and allow decisions to be made and sanctions to come down without weighing in,” Sacramento, Calif., Mayor Kevin Johnson, a former NBA player who is advising the NBA Players Association, said Sunday. “We believe that this is a defining moment for the league; it’s a defining moment for the [NBA] commissioner.”

Johnson said that if the remarks are confirmed to have come from Sterling, the players want the NBA to provide “a full accounting of the prior accusations of racism” made against the Clippers owner and reasons the NBA did not take action.

Money makes strange bedfellows Jayrob. I would not call them sellouts. But certainly folks knew of his reputation. I think Magic tried to get close to him to get him to sell the team to him. Magic ain't dumb. Sometimes you have to keep your enemy close. Magic has learned business from the best and is shrewd. As for Doc Rivers and Chris Paul. Money is money and as long as Sterling didn't say isht to them directly. They took his money. Doc coached for years in racist arse Boston. LOL. He ain't no stranger to behind the scenes racism.

The sports reporters talked about this yesterday. NO SECRET THAT Sterling was like this man. He just finally said something that got put out there in public with his voice on it. Before it was behind closed doors or directly to someone dealing with him. Finally got caught on tape. Would not be shocked if old girl set him up for some folks out to take him down in L.A. Even the white folks hate that dude in L.A. He is a bonafide arse hole according to most who have dealt with him personally.

Donald Sterling’s Long History of Racism and Offensive Remarks

In an explosive story, TMZ Sports obtained an audio recording of a man purported to be Sterling berating his 20-something-year-old girlfriend, V. Stiviano, who is half black, for hanging out with blacks and other minorities.

“Why are you taking pictures with minorities?” the man says in the recording. “Why? It’s like talking to an enemy. Hispanics feel certain things towards blacks. Blacks feel certain things toward other groups [...] It will always be that way. [...] It bothers me a lot that you’re associating with black people. [...] You’re supposed to be a delicate white or a delicate Latina girl. [...] You don't have to have yourself walking with black people.”

Hey Jayrob, Blue just posted this so this tells you how much they knew. I am sure KJ knew how he was when he played for Phoenix and was a student at Cal.

Re: Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Tells Girlfriend: Don’t Bring Black People To My G

And Charles Barkley just stated that folks knew the man was racist but not to this level. You guys are flat out guessing and trying to turn this on the players.
You guys are saying the players and coaches had no more self-respect than to work for a man they KNEW didn't want Black people to come to games, didn't want his girlfriend taking pictures with Black folks like Magic, looked at ALL Black people as "the enemy".
You guys are saying they knew all of this and then some? Talk about being naive.
You can clearly tell that the players were more than shocked and hurt when they heard the man's true description of how much hate he has in his heart for Black people.

I've never seen NBA players come together like this over an issue but you guys claimed they already knew, so this movement is no big deal. LOL!

Charles Barkley has no creditability to comment on anything or anyone.

I mean seriously folks, this dude is just saying what sixty percent of all white men in America feels.

Eff the NAACP... they are opportunistic sell outs. Hell the organization was founded and run by white people...

The NAACP just got it on First Take. Social media is really roasting them.

Damn the NAACP.

Well, it's quite obvious they didn't know if they have to ask for an investigation. Some knew perhaps, but not the overwhelming majority.
Now I would think behind closed doors and during their private meetings, most of the owners knew.

It appears that CarMax and Virgin Airlines have cut ties with the Clipper Org.

Re: Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Tells Girlfriend: Don’t Bring Black People To My G

Why did Donald Sterling’s girlfriend record only his conversation and not hers, I think she coerced him to say what she wanted to hear?

Watch this guy show a lot but this because he's a business man we should give him a pass is a bunch of bullshit and a lot of what he's claiming sounds like it has more to do with his own personal experience/issues than anything base on facts.

Does it matter how the truth came out? She didn't make him say anything. He said himself how he feels.

 So that wasn't her voice on the tape or do you think she was having another conversation in the other room with Magic? :lmao:
