Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Tells Girlfriend: Don’t Bring Black People To My Games

Donald Sterling, the owner of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers, told his girlfriend not to post pictures on Instagram of herself with black people and not to bring black people to his basketball games, according to an audio recording posted by TMZ.

In the recording, Sterling and his girlfriend are fighting over a picture she posted to Instagram of herself with NBA legend Magic Johnson, and Sterling demands that she stop “broadcasting†that she associates with black people. Sterling tells his girlfriend: “You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that … and not to bring them to my games.â€

Later, he makes the point specifically about Magic Johnson, telling her that “it’s too bad you can’t admire (Johnson) privately…bring him here, feed him, f*** him, I don’t care. You can do anything. But don’t put him on an Instagram for the world to see so they have to call me. And don’t bring him to my games. OK?â€

Keith Olbermann Clippers Should REFUSE TO PLAY Until NBA Punishes Sterling

The L.A.. Clippers should BOYCOTT the playoffs ... and refuse to step on the court until the NBA takes action against Donald Sterling ... so says Keith Olbermann.

He is also president of the Player's Union. He is really in a bind. This racist owner signs your checks but you can't just say anything because this make you look bad

there is sooo much here. I'll start with the background noise of this. What kind of open relationship does sterling have with his girlfriend that he tells her you can sleep with who you want? I mean he's more concerned with what goes on instagram than him being the only person she sleeps with.

Talking about magic, is sterling insinuating that his girlfriend is having relations with magic? Cookie can't be happy about that. The johnson men having all kinds of issues.

Last. If I'm a player, a black player, I want a job, but the last job I want is with the Clips.

Is Donald Sterling the same sterling from Sterling real estate? Gonna start avoiding give that dude any of my money.

Kendrick, what are you talking about? Nothing this man has ever said has risen to the level of what was recorded. This man basically stated that his girlfriend shouldn't bring Black people to basketball games and he basically labelled Black folks as "the enemy".

If the NBA and the players knew that this man was a racist to THIS degree, he wouldn't have a team and I highly doubt Doc Rivers would have taken the job to coach under such a racist person.
Heck, Magic didn't even know. Now he says he'll never go to another Clippers game as long as dude is the owner. Seems to me folks didn't know to what degree of a racist this man was/is.

These folks are acting like Donald Sterling was on Youtube making speeches at KKK meetings. It wasn't as well known like they're trying to make it out to be.

Why is the NBA just now meeting if they knew he was this much of a racist? You guys are saying that the NBA knew this man was THIS much of a racist and didn't do anything about it? Doc knew this man was such a racist and decided to leave Boston to work for him? Chris Paul renewed his contract to work for this man? Yeah, right. LOL!!

Why does it matter to what "degree" it was if the racism is known, especially after he was sued for housing discrimination? You don't think Stern knew about that? Or all the other times he'd been sued for racial discrimination?

Degree is the key word. Most people are racist but some go further than others when it comes to their views and mindset.

Now that the Pelicans has a real owner (The Benson family) instead of the NBA, Chris Paul needs to come back to New Orleans. He would make a good point guard for Anthony Davis who is still developing as a power forward/center.

Doesn't change the fact the league had known about Sterling's rep, regardless of degree, for years:

"The content of his lawsuits alone should have been acted on, but the other members of the club – in addition to Stern – should have [held him] accountable," one high-level NBA official told Yahoo Sports on Saturday. "But no one would touch it. We were always holding players, teams and coaches accountable, yet the standard for owners has been a double standard."

Just say you didn't know and be done with it. I wasn't surprised. I think it is ironic that he is taken down by a woman after atleast 3 black men tried to tell everyone how he was and no one paid attention to them.

All NBA players and teams in the playoffs should stop playing until this fool is not the owner of the Clippers any more.
