Dude, Renty is a beast. He was definately ahead of the curve to start last season. He stayed open and had flypaper for hands. At some point, though, he became used less. We don't know why. But he has everything you'd want in a TE. You are right about him.
I think there's another @ sTu who has the size and probable skills, if he can find someone to throw it to him that pretends to be a QB. lol I wonder why SWAC offenses are so hell bent on not using the TE more. :smh: Rarely see RBs catching passes out of the backfield in the SWAC as well, unless it's some type of jacked up screen attempt lol. :read: In the SWAC it's 4-recvr set and boom! Go fly down the field and chunk it. :retard:
Hope Renty has a solid year. Would do nothing but bolster JSU's scoring threats (plural). Ditto for the kid @ sTu.
Congrats to Casey and JSU...... but lets be real we know ESPN is doing this story because its a white boy playing quarterback at a HBCU.... when it airs count how many times they mention "Historically Black College".
It took 18 posts for someone to bring up the truth. I don't understand why he is so celebrated. I just perceive him as a white player taking away an oppurtunity away from young brother with comparable or better football skills. Maybe it's just a bi-product of our conference's inability to recruit or not appeal to black athletes with mid-range talent.
